Update W/ recs from the show - MD S&W2017

Well, Bethany only lasted 3 hours, but we didn't get rained on! I bought too much yarn. These were some of my favorite vendors (most of the online shops are closed up until after S&W, presumably they brought all their inventory to MD!)

www.etsy.com/shop/knittyandcolor B picked out one of their yarns in a rainbow colorway, then I had to go back to get one more on our way out! They're so soft and brightly colored!
primitiveoriginals.com/index.html This place had really reasonably (I thought) priced started kits fro Kumihimo. It's something I always wanted to try, and they let B try it too. She even did some after we got home! 
www.ontheround.com/ had some beautiful yarn, but it's the one place I didn't buy from. I'm regretting that now, I wish I'd gone back for one more (but it would have put me over budget for the show)
www.rajkovichdesigns.com/ She had some seriously beautiful shawl pins. Seriously. I don't knit shawls, but I might just so I can buy and use one!
neighborhoodfiberco.com I bought three colorways from these guys this year. Seriously beautiful yarn and so soft. I saw them last year on my way out and didn't have any money left This year they were one of my first stops! 
www.shelridge.com/ I bought 4 skeins from these guys for color work sock I bought yarn from them last year and seriously loved how they knit up and how many colors the yarn comes in!

mala I took limited funds so only ended up with two skeins and some goat cheeses. I got a beautiful lace weight from solitude wool and then a dk skein from spirit trail fiberworks. It was a ton of fun and I have so much to look into later. I'm also going to be getting some yarn from a local(to me) farm that was there for my Rhinebeck sweater.

The stitch marker swap was fun. I swapped about 25. I made turtles and peace signs, everyone loved the turtles. I had mushrooms as back up but someone else made those so I didn't swap them.

Thanks for the recap and recommendations! I'm always scared to buy handspun and hand dyed yarns online in case they aren't as pretty in person as they look online! I am drooling over some of these!
