I mean, I really hope I'm the only one who is having a 6th interview.
You'd think I'd feel like I have it in the bag! I keep wondering, thinking that maybe they are interviewing a bunch of others as much as me. I guess we'll see.
I'm having a harder time with A turning 5 than any other age. It just seems so kid, I'm sure it's also part her going to kindergarten in just a few months too. That and her baby brother isn't a baby anymore

Me too! I know that for me, it was all about kindergarten. I've taught kinder my entire career and my kids are "big kids." Knowing that my baby is going to be a big kid in kindergarten is so hard for me!

This job better pay you mega bucks for all that they have put you through. GL!

Me too. She seems so BIG now. Her vocabulary, her mannerisms. I have a big kid now.
For everyone who really liked the dress - would you pay $42 for it? The fabric is custom printed and isn't cheap - around $26 a yard and it's about 3/4 yard for elizabeth size and a little over a yard for TrudyCampbell's girls, and I'm trying to figure out what to charge. Both the dino and superhero fabrics. And most of the other stuff I have. I've been trying to find prints I think girls would love but aren't really available in the major retail stores.
rjamz, I'm cheap and will not spend more than $25 - $30 on a dress for her unless it is a special occasion.
That's my worry. I have some with non custom fabric I could price like that, but at $26 a yard, it's not worth my time to charge less than $36 at least ETA: $36 was going to be my opening weekend and then "friend price"

If I was in love something i might spend $35/6 but I don't think I would spend over 40 on one item.

I've heard some people who sell things they sew say they double the price of the fabric/material for the sell price. So I think the price is very reasonable for the price of the fabric. I think it's fine to have different prices based on the type of fabric you use. There is a wide range of prices and qualities of fabric and most people shopping home made pieces on etsy expect to pay more for a unique item.
This was my thought also. A $30 price tag is easy to buy, but I would have to be totally obsessed with a print to consider spending $45.
I get that. I'm hoping Dinos and supergirls are special enough for people to want to spend the money.
Would you find it weird if some dresses were $30 and some were $40 and I explained the custom print thing?
I don't think that is weird at all. If there was a special pug print that was $40, I'm sure I would hop on it. You never know which prints are going to make people go nuts!
