How do you store them? We recently moved and in my previous house I had a vanity in the bathroom with three good sized drawers on either side so I had a a ton of storage, I don't have that here.
I bought a writing desk to use as a vanity in my bedroom, but it doesn't offer a ton of storage either. The main problem is my palettes, I have about 30 :/. So, does anyone have any storage solutions? I'm trying to avoid the Alex drawers because I don't like the look, but it may be my best option.
I used to have the Ikea cabinet a lot of people use, but since moving, don't really have room for it. I think I have 60+ palettes though now.... I have no idea how to store them either.
I keep a plastic 4-drawer organizer from Target in my bedroom closet similar to this: www.target.com/p/iris-3-drawer-rolling-storage-cart/-/A-51146790. I keep singles and duos in the top drawer, quads and small palettes with more than 4 colors in the middle drawer, and my largest palettes in the bottom one.
I have a couple of the three-drawer plastic Sterilite sets that are in my closet, but that set-up only works for about 95% of mine -- there are a couple that are sitting on the shelf about the drawer sets. I should really get a third, but I just don't have room for another.
I love this idea, but can I ask a logistical question? Do you sit when doing your makeup or stand? I sit at a desk of sort and think it would be a pain to stand up and reach for the palette I want. Call me lazy, but once I'm seated to do my makeup, I'm seated!
But I love this idea to showcase what you have as art and also so you can see it all!
I just put mine in the bottom drawer of an acrylic 5-drawer container. I have about 20, so not too many I don't know what I have. I can stand the Naked palettes on their side, the others are still somewhat visible and all easily accessible.

I stand to do my makeup, so I can see the feasibility of that.
