DH is going to be out of town for a work conference for several days so I'll be solo parenting 24/7. I really hope the kids aren't total heathens.

Seriously though aren't daycare people amazing. If I had to spend all my days surrounded by lots of kids the same age who are all peeing all over the floor I would lose my shit

I think that a lot. People talk about longing for the "simpler" Olden days and I'm like what ?? You mean when every time I needed something, anything I had to leave my house and go to a store ?? Dear god no, no thank you.

I have so much respect for them!  I couldn't do it.

The director just told me the other day that Andrew is moving up to the preschool 1 class.  One of his current teachers in the toddler room was his teacher in the baby room and moved up with him.  I think she'll have a hard time letting him go.  I really hope daycare potty trains him but I am NOWHERE near trying.

When I walking around in the cold, i think of people who had no heat and had to rely on wood stoves and scratchy wool garments and then I'm so thankful for modern conveniences.

jamaicam , I'm so sorry that the inlaws are still causing issues. It has to be frustrating that they don't realize that they are hurting your children, their grandchildren, and this is not what P would have wanted. Many hugs.
