We have a busy summer - school is out the end of June. We have a week on the Cape in mid July, a long weekend in Wisconsin the end of July, my bff from California and her family is visiting for a few days, then we have two weeks in Hawaii at the end of August.
When we are home Henry is going to his usual summer camp (typical on the lake, canoeing, archery, sports all day camp) and Elliot goes to his old preschool(which is year round).
Very busy! My 19yo sister is coming in June for 10 days with her boyfriend. Then my older sister is coming with her kids the first two weeks of July. THEN my dad is coming for three weeks end of July into August.
And to top it all off I booked tickets to go to Ireland for me and the kids for 9 days in August before Matilda starts K. I got three tickets for $680 which is insane. We will save almost that by having her finish daycare up two weeks early.
Well I'll be 3 hours away doing teacher training for 7 weeks and only home on some weekends, then 2 weeks home and then I start working at the school and the kids start a week later. So nothing besides that. Hopefully we can go to the beach in October (our school does a week off then, and S. Padre still is warm enough).
School is out at noon on Friday! DS2 and DD will go to our old sitter for two weeks until our high school sitters get out of school. We have a friends' daughter watching them M/Tu and my cousin is watching them W/Th. They will be with either DH or me F/Sa/Su. I doubt we will do much in the way of a vacation this year. I'm tired already thinking about juggling multiple babysitters, but I think the kids will enjoy being at home.

No real plans except our annual trip to cape cod in late august.
Violet will be in school most of the summer, July 5th- mid August. Her current school has a 12 month program. Because of this, we signed Ruby up for 5 day a week camp so she will be at camp mon-fri 9am-1pm. Which means I'm going to have A LOT more free time! I suppose I need to start being really clean and cooking...
We don't have a lot planned. My sister's kids will be here for 5 weeks (she and BIL are going on vacation for 2.5 of those weeks), so we will spend a lot of time with them. We have a weekend trip planned, but that is about it. Sydney's school does through the end of June and we start school at the beginning of August, so our summer together is going to feel really short.
My H and I are headed to Mexico for a kid-free vacation next week. A road trip to Iowa for a family reunion at the end of June with my parents and the boys. Maine for a week in August. Benjamin is also going to VBS, and safety town day camp in July. I'm hoping we can add in a few camping trips on the weekends too, but I haven't booked any campsites yet. Oh, and we're supposed to do a long weekend at the beach with my MIL too.
I'm depending on the neighbor kids to be around so B can run around and play with them most mornings, and then hit up the pool in the afternoon after nap.
Blake is done with school may 25th. The first week of June is vacation bible school, second week is nature camp, and the third week is safety town. He will also be doing private therapy (speech and OT) once a week and local speech and OT twice a week through the school. He'll also continue with swim, and has Tball twice a week. Poor Colton is like a year too young to do any of it except swim, so he'll do that and play with Gma.
4th of July week we are going to spend at my parents condo at the lake as well as some other weekends.
My SIL is getting married in August. Boys are ring bearers.
We're also talking about doing a quick weekend in Indy at the children's museum.
No big trips planned this year because of the wedding and all Blake's therapy. Next year is our 10 yr anniversary, so I'm trying to talk H into someplace like Jamaica.
No big plans besides beach day trips and 3 days at Storyland.
The kids are both going to 2 days a week at their respective schools but they only overlap 1 day. So each kid will get an alone day with me and I will have 1 day kid free (yes!!).
Jamie has graduation June 2nd and we're going to Denver to see claralou a week after that. Then the same week we get back we're going to NY for a cousins wedding and I'll see TrudyCampbell for her BIRTHDAY!!!!
Then we're pretty much hanging around these parts. Elizabeth doesn't sleep well away from home, which makes travel tough. Jamie is going to sports camp and, assuming it gets warm at some point, I'm planning on bringing Elizabeth to the beach a lot. Also, I bought her too many bathing suits, so I need to use them, lol. devonpow I think we're skipping Wisconsin this year because H has to study for his boards in August, but I hope you'll hit me up when you pass through Chicago!
Our closing and moving costs are going to wipe out a significant chunk of our savings, so we decided not to go to New England this year. We'll still be going to Iowa, but it's cheaper going there, because we don't have to stay in hotels.
My sister said she's going to come visit, but we'll see if that happens. I'm not going to hold my breath. I'm trying to get my mom and stepdad to come visit, too. We'll have to pay their travel costs, but it would still be cheaper than us going to visit them.

We are doing our annual trek to MV and I'm very excited that we were able to swing 3 weeks this summer. We also hope to get some long beach weekends in Destin.
W will have a couple weeks of golf/tennis/swim camp and a couple of weeks of team sports camp. He will also go to Camp Invention for a week. The rest of the time we will rotate park, zoo, splash pad, aquarium, library and swimming. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. 12 weeks is a long time.

Our punk rock concert long weekend in Las Vegas is over Memorial Day!!! I'M SO READY. We had to postpone the Jamaica trip from my mom for several boring adult reasons.

Oh, my kids will be at summer camp every day but Thursday at their school provided DH has a job. It's nice that D can transition to her new school over summer. We will do swim lessons on Thursdays. H is doing a local girls rock camp in July. Lots of weekends at our lagoon.
We have a weekend in VT for a wedding. We rented a huge house to stay with my extended family which should be fun. Our vacation is always in July, a week at the beach in Maine. Other than that, we will do dat trips to museums, the beach and the zoo. I hope to spend most of our summer days hanging out at our pool; Olivia is really into swimming.

We had our weekend at the Osthoff moved to late July this year, but I don't think we are going to be in Chicago at all We are starting in Champaign (to see FIL) and then have to fly right back from Wisconsin on Sunday because my BFF and her family that I haven't seen in two years are going to be in Boston (in our house, lol) waiting for us.

We are driving to kc for a wedding I'm in. 2 12 hour days of driving each way is going to suck but it's cheaper and we can stay for free in hotels with a family discount. We will probably sign B up for vacation bible school but no other camps.
