Year in Review :)

This past year has flown by for me but I also feel like it's aged me a decade. haha

Just about a year ago, H finished all of his training and starting doing what he loves to do, fly airplanes. Since then he has been all over the world, deployed twice and spent more time in Alaska than the state we currently live. (Crazy!)

As for me, I've held two different jobs, taught myself how to sew and build things.. taught my dog a handful of new tricks/behaviors, logged a ton of volunteer hours... and I'm sure the list could go on forever if I wanted.

Moved to Arkansas last March and we just had our first year anniversary!

I went from desperately begging xH to work on our marriage to happily divorced. A part time cashier job to a ft manager position. I've lost 10 pounds. In a few weeks I will be living on my own!

This year has flown by in the blink of an eye.

We found out we were expecting #2. Celebrated 5 years of marriage. Momentarily had orders to Guam which were cancelled and replaced with H's unaccompanied orders to Korea. Assigned Alaska as a follow on. Moved to Michigan. H left for Korea. DS started Pre-K4. Having baby sister SOON. SO MUCH!

Big challenges to overcome.

In the past year I dealt with H being deployed, got 6 tattoos, made a new friend, lost 12 pounds then gained it all back in muscle, started the process of (hopefully) joining the Navy reserves, ETA celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary!

My grandma passed away
DH and I had our 1 year anniversary
I made the Dean's list twice
Crazy family drama
Moved to new state
Started Nursing school
Got back into horseback riding

Quit my (crappy) contractor job and became a SAHM
Finished my MBA
H deployed
Learned to sew; made my first quilt
Celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and my 30th birthday

PCSed to new base
Got a FT job
Adopted another pup
Passed my CMA certification
Started my running journey and ran first 9k, 10k, 10 mile, and half marathons
Started fertility treatments/process
Quit FT job for PT job

DH deployed, I moved to PA, applied to become a Marine Corps Officer, was a non-select twice, got a job as a respiratory therapist, DH put in a STA-21 package, DH came home, and here we are.

Got a crappy job, thankfully quit it because...
Applied and got into a doctor of psychology program
Moved to OH
Started said PsyD program
Husband is working with Army unit to help his AF career
Dealing with long distance marriage

I live in Hawaii. We spent more than half the year together which was a first in our 6 years.

H graduated pilot training.
I started midwifery school.
We are moving to Arkansas soon.
We bought a house.
Started TTC#2.

A little over a year ago we packed up all our stuff including a dog, cat, bird, fish, turtle, and a toddler on a 5 day move across the country. We left behind all of our family and friends and moved to sunny California. My H recently deployed and I got a part-time job before he left. Found out are best friends are getting stationed here next week and will live on base about 5 minutes from us. H finally got selected to be promoted this year.

Also I am really excited to see what comes of my photography hobby. I have grown so much in the past year. Things are good
