I need to replace my straight-leg jeans that are falling apart. I'm looking for something that is NOT skinny so that I can wear them with chunkier shoes without looking ridiculous. (I have huge feet.) I already have skinny jeans, so I'm looking for straight-leg jeans that are not fitted around the ankle. I've never found a brand that I LOVED enough to be brand-loyal. Willing to spend $100-200. Would it be best to wait for the Nordstrom anniversary sale? I suppose I can make it through the summer without them.

kooshball , laterz : I'm contemplating purchasing some Kut jeans. Do they run true to size? Or vanity sizing?
It's hit or miss for me - I'm a 12 and i have some 10s that fit, some 12s that fit. Some are stretchier than others. I buy from zappos a lot, so i usually just order both and send whatever doesn't work back. Even within the same style, the wash can affect the size. Good luck!

I'm confused. I hear straight leg and I think bootcut. But the pants pictured are some hybrid of crops/bell bottoms and the link shows skinny jeans.
Basically I am very out of touch lol.
Straight-leg jeans go straight down from the knee to the hem. Skinny jeans taper in and hug the ankles, and bootcut jeans go out to fit over boots. Crops can be any cut but with a shorter inseam.
