Happy Mother's Day my friends! Enjoy your day! Any fun plans?

DH is taking me out for the day. Later my mom is coming over for dinner. She's excited for grilled steaks and ribs lol.

Steaks and ribs sounds delicious. We make neither at our house ever- H doesn't care for ribs while I love them, and he's too cheap to buy steaks to cook.

We are going to my cousins for brunch. Not sure what we will do the rest of the day- it's warm and sunny out. I wonder if I can can convince H to walk around the local zoo or go play mini golf. Dinner tonight is leftover pasta from yesterday's lunch at Maggiano's.


Baby girl slept 9 straight hours last night! I need this to become our normal LOL. It gave us time to fool around, I baked a cake, and fooled around on the internet before I went to bed 3 hours after she did.

H and I went to see Tom Segura do stand-up last night. It was an hour and a half drive each way, we got home at 11:30pm, and we were up at 5:00am for H to go to work, so I'm exhausted. But it was sooooooo worth it. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard, and it was such a wonderful feeling to get to enjoy it without being overwhelmed by anxiety.

H is working a 12 hour shift today, and I'm going to my Grandma's for a barbecue.

Our new patio furniture made it to the store so DH is going to pick it up and assemble it today. I'm planning on having a glass of wine on the patio tonight after the girls are in bed.

We got up and got donuts and went to Target this morning. DS slept until 9am beforehand which was an awesome Mother's Day gift! We are relaxing now and then going to an early dinner tonight to celebrate Mother's Day.

We made a pit stop at JCPenney on the way to brunch. H was all "so I never ordered those boat shoes so now I'm wearing black and red gym shoes with my khaki shorts." Of course they were out of the ones he prefers but we scored an $80 pair of leather Dockers for $5!

And now we're gonna be thirty minutes late to my cousins house. Oops.

We did the breast cancer walk this morning and now we're about to eat some lunch! Hope everyone has a great day!

I got to sleep in!!! H made me bacon and coffee, I put L down for a nap then B and I went outside and practiced for our softball game tomorrow. Now he is making peanut butter cookies, L is playing, and I am watching TV. Perfection.

Going to MILs this afternoon and trying to talk H into going out for dinner.

We went to church and by some miracle, everyone took a simultaneous nap when we got home. Amazing.


Now I have to go to MILs for the rest of the day I wish I could just have H take the kids.

amaranth- I would totally send him solo. You deserve a break after being solo while he was in germany (I know it has more to do with not wanting to see your ILs but still, I vote don't go)!

Great day so far...went for a 6.5 mile run with C and my dad. He bought us Starbucks afterwards! Came home, showered, ate, opened gifts from the boys, they are napping now and I am relaxing! Leaving for my dads when they boys wake up to celebrate my step mom with my brother and SIL!

C has been up since 6:20 and has only taken 1 nap. And it was only an hour long. She is so close to breaking through her first tooth. She just wants to be on me. I am counting down to bedtime.

We went to brunch which was really tasty (and it was not crowded, bonus!) and then went for a walk along the river. There's a spot we like to just sit on the benches and relax, it's a gorgeous day out and it was so nice. We've just been chilling at home this afternoon.
