Lightweight boy pants?

Do lightweight toddler boy pants exist? Like girl leggings weight, but not leggings.  We have so many days here in the spring/fall where I want to put H in pants for sun protection, and to protect his knees, but jeans, sweatpants, exercise pants, khakis are too warm.  I'm so used to throwing A in leggings all spring/fall but idk what to do with H on those days.

target HAD some but they aren't carrying them currently

hopefully they'll have them again soon, they just have all shorts right now
but he wears them every day and they're great with potty training because he can pull them up/down by himself

Yes, the poplin material is what works best here in that weather.

*they never worked for Benjamin because he'd destroy the knees in one wear.

I put Ezra in girl leggings all the time lol. Rose and Jane's old ones. Well not that old because he fits in their 4t & 5t ones. He can only wear those or sweat pants. Nothing that zips or buttons or has structure because of his belly.

I have a bunch from the gap that are lightweight. They are called the pull on twill chinos. They come in cute colors and are on sale right now. They boys have them in navy, bright green, red, and light blue.

I looked there hoping they'd have some, it's good to know they do sometimes have them! They had some in baby boy but that was it, all shorts for toddler. I bet come July I will have more options.

I did that all last year too, but he outgrew all the ones I saved! People keep thinking H is a girl, I guess because of his hair, so I'm avoiding leggings now, which is probably a dumb reason. I wish I would find more like a yoga pant, so like legging material but not as tight. I could probably look in the girl section for those.

I can't tell from the photo but does the drawstring actually tighten? I somehow bought a few from somewhere that are just for looks, which is annoying!

We have similar light ones from gymbo. We didn't get working draw strings until 4t. before that they were for show.

I've gotten a few of the granimals pants from Walmart and they've held up well

We had a few from target earlier. Like a lightweight sweatpant type material. I loved them and will have to search for them once fall stuff comes out.
