Tomorrow is Andrew's PreK ceremony, even though they still have another week of school. Andrew was chosen to make the opening "speech." It's a long poem that his teachers wrote, and we've been practicing it all week. He's SO proud. I just hope he knocks it out of the park tomorrow!
R was very crabby this morning so W was trying lots of things to try to make her happy. He kept giving her hugs and kisses and grabbing his toys/stuffed animals to share with her. He's definitely had some rough times the last few weeks, but it's moments like these that makes the others more manageable.
Blake has an end of the year concert coming up, and I had asked his teacher for the lyrics of the songs they would be singing because singing is really difficult for him. She sent me a CD home. Every day since we've gotten the CD, we listen to it in my car, and he's been practicing singing. His concert isn't until next week, but I hope he'll have the confidence to sing. I'm proud of him for trying.
He is doing SO well at swimming lately. Another thing that is really hard for him, but he's starting to doggy paddle himself and jump off the blocks into the deep end.
And I just love how well him and C get along. C adores him and always wants to be with him, but likes to take his cars, iPad, etc. he's always patient with him. I hope they are always best friends like they are now.
Jameson is so caring with our chickens. He's such a farm boy and I *really* hope we can get some property soon so he can grow in that role. He knows which chicken lays which egg and each time a new one would start laying he'd come in the house and say "We have a new lady laying today!!".
Anna's art is amazing! She exudes creativity. She could craft all day long if I gave her enough supplies. Everything she does is all her too, she disappears and then comes out with a new creation. She made this self portrait yesterday.
Declan is sweet and funny. He's so independent and I think once we get past the tantrum toddler stage that he is going to be amazing.

Nice idea
Julian us a very kind and caring boy, he is always saying I love my family and he is an incredible big brother. He tried helping me was dishes because "I like to help my family" he's independent and generous. He's really an amazing child.
May is so smart and perceptive and so kind to her friends and sister. I love her art and creativity. She's always making up songs and dances and can run full speed into any new situation fearlessly.
Clara is hilarious and loving, giving hugs and kisses. She is so smart. Every day I'm blown away at things she understands or tries to do.

W is such a loving, sweet child. I am so proud of how he plays with others, how hard he tries in sports and how quickly he adapts to new situations. I truly love being his mom and experiencing each and every stage with him.

He did it!! I got super nervous because I didn't realize it was at the END of the program. A long, loud, crazy program. I was afraid he would shut down, as is his normal behavior in these types of situations. But he did it!!
And while I'm bragging, my sweet boy won two different awards. As soon as he received the certificate, he leapt off the stage, ran towards me, and gave me a huge hug. He wasn't supposed to do that, but I wasn't going to stop him . . . .
E is just the super sweetest. He's so snuggly with everyone and trying hard to talk. He and A love each other so much. A is so independent now. She loves coloring and reading. She even got to read the play at her PK graduation while her friends did the animals. So cute
