Better than it was a week ago 😀 My period started yesterday so looks like DH is off the hook this week (not sure if I updated but he suggested aiming for 1x/week, likely Friday mornings).

3: Any summer trips you're planning?

Nothing planned and I doubt we will go anywhere since DH just started his new job.

4: What are you hoping to read this summer?

Nothing. Sad but true. Hoping to use any free time to help my dad and his business and also get back into a regular workout routine. Relaxing will be me messing around here and on FB.

5: What is the last compliment someone gave you?

Not sure but probably some stranger commenting on how impressed they are that I take both boys with me (bagels, groceries, doctors appointments, etc...I get this almost every time we go somewhere...I don't find it all that hard, honestly...it's just life with two small kids).

1: When is the last time you made banana bread? I have a banana muffin recipe I make for when people have babies. It's easy to eat in one hand and very tasty. I think I made them when our neighbor's daughter had their baby almost 2 years ago...I need to make them again! ha!

2: How's your sex life lately? About 1x every 10 days we'll do something sexual....but not intercourse. The SCH with my pregnancy with L scarred me. Luckily, DH is fine with us doing other things while I'm being a pansy.

3: Any summer trips you're planning? Nothing right now....I'll head down to the home state for my nephew's birthday in August. I don't know if that counts. It's a day trip. DH isn't really into vacations....especially beach vacations.

4: What are you hoping to read this summer? Magazines I have just enough time to read a few articles a week...meaning it takes me about a month to get through a magazine.

5: What is the last compliment someone gave you? "You don't look tired." Dear person, I'd hug you if I could....

1: When is the last time you made banana bread?  This morning, using the kodiac cakes recipe. I honestly wasn't impressed. I'll make my normal recipe again next time. 

2: How's your sex life lately? Much better. Since H got home almost every day and I'm exhausted. I was so glad for my period to arrive and get a break. lol!

3: Any summer trips you're planning? Depending on my sister's wedding date we may take a trip to South Padre Island with the whole family, and we've been hoping to do a couples trip to Costa Rica in Sept but depending on finances we may skip that or do something smaller like East or West Coast road trip. 

4: What are you hoping to read this summer? I have two books on my kindle I've started and need to finish, "The Husband's Secret" and "Devil in the White City". Also I'm almost done with a biography and parenting book.  

5: What is the last compliment someone gave you? On Sunday several extended family members complimented M's behavior. It's been such a rough road with him so I nearly cried. I know that isn't "me" but it felt like me since I deal with him every day.

This probably counts as a confession - I've never made banana bread! My mom always makes it. Haha.

It has actually been really, really awesome. Like, sometimes multiple times a day awesome.

We're going to the coast for our wedding anniversary in June.

4: What are you hoping to read this summer?

I have so many books on my to-read list. I don't even know where to start.

H just told me I'm "really hot", followed by a suggestive eyebrow waggle. Does that count? LOL.

1. Several months at least
2. It's just perfect for me, not enough for DH, although improving.
3. Family camp for a weekend through our church, but no, not really. Not with my new job and renovations happening in our house.
4. Anything other than school books? I want to finish The Handmaid's Tale, and 123 Magic.
5. "I like your hair!" From coworkers. I just got my hair colored yesterday.

1: When is the last time you made banana bread? I don't even remember! I have some bananas at home I want to turn into muffins though, lol.

2: How's your sex life lately? Non existent. Too tired! Hopefully this time won't be like last time where we had a very very long dry spell...

Maybe last fall? People had been regularly giving us loaves through the winter so now I'm sick of it.

So I'm 7.5 weeks PP & had surgery on Friday... pretty sure the answer is obvious.

3: Any summer trips you're planning?
A week at a cottage with my ILs is the only thing currently on the agenda. The rest depends on whether or not we move.

4: What are you hoping to read this summer?
I usually set out to finish the books I haven't finished in the summer. So far I'm still working on A Suitable Boy & Anna Karenina. Though I've pretty much thrown in the towel on the latter.

5: What is the last compliment someone gave you?
DH is one of those people who gives constant compliments. With Mother's Day on the weekend, me recovering from surgery, and my normal anxiety, he's been saying "You're a good mom" a lot.

I make it a few times a year, I think I made it while pregnant in January or February?

Had sex two days in a row in the past week Don't think we ever hit two days in a row, maybe once? while TTC. And now 2 with a 7 week old...H being on anti-depressants is great in more ways then one

3: Any summer trips you're planning?
Nope, just up to MIL's over Memorial Day weekend.

4: What are you hoping to read this summer?
I'll be catching up on science and social studies curriculum since that'll be my new content areas.

That I look great for having a 7 week old. (and they were surprised I was out of the house- dude, I've been getting out daily since she was 2 weeks old!)

1. 4-5 months ago but I've been thinking about making it again with al this talk about it.

2. Not as good as I want it to be, but not bad either

4. Not sure yet. I'm going to the library tomorrow to grab some books for the weekend

I never got to make it the other day but I have the bananas waiting in the freezer for when I have the time.

It could be better but H is working long hours and is too tired when he gets home. On his 1 day off a week, it's game on 😉

No summer trips due to work. I do want to go to the beach for a day even if it's by myself.

Whatever my mom has on her kindle account. She gave me her account info so I can read whatever she buys.

One of my patients told me I was his angel since I always listen and go out of my way to make sure he is comfortable when he needs help.

1. Never
2. Not as frequent as we would like, but a toddler and a full time job will do that.
3. San Diego in May, a trip to the local amusement park in June, Cincinnati in July
4. At least 2 books that are not toddler books
5. I told H he pitched well in our softball game. And my coworker that her skirt looks nice.
