differin purge

Google tells me this is totally normally but the answers vary WILDLY so I'm asking ladies I trust more. How long did the purge last for you? What mask(s) and moisturizer(s) did you use that helped with the dryness? Thanks!

I just made this mist and OMG it's so moisturising (actually perhaps a bit too much on top of everything else).  




I've been having flaking issues and I think this will help a ton.  I would experiment - I'm going to have fun with the types and amounts of oil.

As for moisturisers - I would say that whoever suggested the Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream is fabulous. It is a life saver for my dry flakey skin.

Do you think it will be ok for breakout prone skin? I notice it has nacinamide in it which I think is good for breakouts...

Is meant to be good for sensitive and acne prone skin as well as dry skin.

I watch a dermatologist's YT page and she suggested putting Differin on over moisturizer. It seems to be working and I am not having any flaking (though I do have dry skin). Does Gothamista's spray in the post above go over everything, like a last step?

It can be used as a last step, during the day if you feel dry or flaky.  Or you can put it under moisturiser if you want to really seal things in.

My breakouts got worse for the first two months. When I finally almost finished the small tube it cleared up
