Thursday stuff

I'm sorry I haven't been around much again, I've just been so busy.

Today will be a busy one as well. We are going camping for the long weekend and DH is driving me and the trailer up a day early so I can go up when my parents are going tonight). So I am grocery shopping today and getting last minute stuff packed.

I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend away from reality.

DH leaves today for an overnight trip for work. He will be back sometime tomorrow night. I plan on going to bed early tonight. I want to wake up early so I can go to Trader Joe's tomorrow. Last time I got some frozen meals that were awesome from their and with our busy schedules I want to pick a bunch up. It's about a little over an hour drive. I just don't want to get stuck in the rush hour traffic going into the city.

We are home from the hospital and just taking it easy. H is bringing B to school and then coming home to take care of me and G. He's promised me a nap since I was up all night holding the baby. Trying to soak up all the help I have so I don't wind up overdoing it and hurting my incision.

My Mom is coming today to help out. I don't know if it's taking acetaminophen regularly or just being post-op but I'm exhausted.

So there was a girl that went missing recently around here. Usually these things don't end well. They found her alive yesterday! Circumstances are still fishy but at least there was a good ending for once. We've had a lot of bad news around here lately!

I'm so hungry, but I have no idea what I want to eat. I'm too lazy to cook anything, so I'm trying to figure out what I can convince H to make for me. Haha.

I suspect my MIL is trying to stress me out in an attempt (that will fail) to send me into labor early while she's here. She's literally asking if L can have certain foods....ALL of which are the list of "DO NOT FEED TO YOUR CHILD UNDER 3 YEARS OF AGE OR THEY COULD CHOKE" foods. I decided after her last email to not respond. I will have food prepared and a ton of different options for snacks....please stick to those.

Blue Moon- I have been thinking of you! Glad you guys are all home! Prayers you get some rest...definitely take people up on their offers...to rest, cook, clean, play with B.

ewall- have a blast on your vacation!!! Good luck getting ready!

awick14- have fun friend! I want to go camping so badly but am terrified to with C...maybe next year!

We are home today, just getting chores done and playing. L should be up from his nap soon. Not sure what we will do between naps but probably going to do my blood work after they are up from their afternoon naps.

My bridesmaid dress for my sister's fall wedding arrives today. I can't wait to try it on! I am SO grateful she moved her wedding date so we have more time to plan.


estrellita. That's so great. A missing baby around here last month didn't have such a happy ending and I cried on and off for like 2 days. She was the same age as S so it hit hard.

amaranth ugh, every time I hear one of the not so good endings, it's like a punch in the stomach! So hard to think of the what ifs. Apparently this girl ran off on her own and I overheard a rumor she tends to wander off so I'm glad it doesn't sound like anything bad happened. I just read there's another girl missing from a city about an hour from here. There's also been a lot of bad accidents (including one involving a 19 month old ) and just generally bad things going on and it just needs to stop!

@opal- I hope you are resting lots and it's great your mom can come help.

estrellita- I'm glad they found the girl. They don't usually end well here either.

katespade-I hate being hungry and not wanting to cook. Did your H make you something?

MrsMB- I hope having your MIL ends up not being as stressful as you think.

I'm almost done packing for camping. DH is going to be home in 2-3 hrs so now I can relax until he gets here.

At the new ENT's office, and not a day too soon. I feel like crap and have a horrible headache.

I tried and failed at getting my blood work done. I was in such a hurry that I forgot my insurance card and they couldn't look it up any other way. I also only brought the single stroller (which usually isn't a big deal...and needed regardless since the double doesn't fit through most doors) and had to lug both kids a long distance to get there to avoid paying a ridiculous amount for parking. I am hoping to go back after the boys wake up from their naps. So frustrating and not what I needed since I am pretty low on energy reserves (I started my period 3 days ago and am very weak from it...thankfully things are slowing down so my strength should return soon, hopefully).

I'm really annoyed. I bought some deodorant recently and it gave me a rash! It's a new brand so that has to be it. I stopped using it now but my armpits are bright red and hurt now I don't think the store would take it back but I wonder if the company would do anything. I'll have to see if I still have the receipt!

awick14 it is. Now he isn't coming home tomorrow night 😞 I won't see him until class Saturday.

DH had his CDL road test today and he passed!

The new ENT needs to get my records from my old doctor, including a CD with my CT scans, but he already thinks I may be a good candidate for a balloon sinus procedure, to open up my airways. He dais he could actually see my deviated septum. I also got a referral to an allergist to restart my allergy shots.
