It's cold and rainy all day today and tomorrow. Then we're supposed to get 4-6" of snow sometime tonight or tomorrow, lame.

H is way sleeping in today, he's usually up by 6 and it's 8:30. Hopefully he is sleeping off his sickness and feeling better when he wakes up.

I had the most fun last night. We went to the Cardinals game and to the best bar...punk rock juke box, vintage pinball, and meat pies. Got 4 hours of sleep before our 8am session and fly home tonight. Get back to CA after ten.
I miss the girls. DH is taking D to her 5 year well check today.

I finally got my tomato plants in the ground this morning. I still have peppers, eggplant, and squash to go.

I was supposed to start on a project as a contractor for my old company on Monday, but procurement is dragging their feet getting me setup as a vendor. So annoying.

I went to a used uniform sale yesterday at Benjamin's school next year and scored 3 short sleeve polo, 4 pairs of shorts, and 2 pairs of pants.

Uniform mom's, how many changes of clothes do you have? Enough for one week?

I do two pairs of shorts in each color, 3 pairs of pants in each color (the knees wear out fast!), 2 SS polos in each color, and 2 LS polos in each color. We have two pants colors, and 3 shirt colors. That gets us through Christmas break usually.

There are two people moving in across the street. They packed almost everything in plastic grocery bags or just tossed it in the moving truck. It's been interesting watching them unload.

oh that's a good point. They have a gym uniform too and said they should wear them to school on gym days.

I wore a uniform throughout school, but we always changed into our gym clothes at school and then back to regular uniform after gym class.

I'm ready for the school year to be done. Two kids got into a fight today, and I ended up bruising my foot trying to beak it up. Stupid sandals.

I'm also annoyed they only got a 1-day suspension, especially considering one kid started the problem, and he got the same punishment as the other one.

Nine days left.

I hate that katfco. At this point in the year, our principal general tells them not to come back this year.
I have a sinus and ear infection. Felt like crap and stayed home. Then I got a call that E was running a fever. Since he had his MMR shot last week, were chalking it up to that and they said I can bring him tomorrow. Then they sent home another kid with fever and texted to say I can't bring him now because it may be illness. Fuck this. 2.5 days left with students. 3.5 days of work total

I feel like a broken record, but I am NOT ready for summer. Today was so hot, hazy, and muggy I thought I was back home.

We have another round of thunderstorms with the possibility of hail tonight and I am cringing for all my neighbors who've already replaced their roofs from the last round.

I applied for two new jobs this week.  Well one is actually at my current job just doing more administrative work. The other is a teaching job that I could bring Amelia with me to next fall.  Fingers crossed bc this working until 7 every night is getting old and I would prefer a day job.    I had to turn down a bday gift from a client so that was awkward.   3 weeks until we leave for kc and I need to loose 15 pounds before I wear the bridesmaid dress.   So we are doing whole 30 again.
