This is so weird! I got a notification that someone liked one of my reviews. The book name didn't ring any bells so I read my review which didn't help since I hadn't mentioned any spoilers. So I went back to read other reviews to see if it would jog my memory. Someone lifted an entire paragraph from my review and used it in their review - word for word. 😒
And it's not generic stuff like "great read" or "loved the characters" - it's very specific language and words around one character. My review was written in 2009 and hers in 2011. I'm not going to say anything but it's weird. Her review also has 1 more like than mine does. 😑

I figured ufcasey would chime in!!! I rarely leave reviews because mine would be more generic and I sure as hell wouldn't waste time to make it sound better by copying someone else's! I guess you sounded scholarly pinotgrig, take it as a compliment! Did you compare books to see if they copied any others?!

I did, lol! She lives in my state but we have very different taste in books.
I did google a bit and the advice seemed to be that I should flag the review, which let's you add a comment about why you're flagging it. So I did that. We'll see what happens!
