Best stain remover?

What is your go to all purpose stain spray?

I used to use oxi clean baby but reviews on Amazon indicate they changed the formula and it isn't great.

I use regular oxi clean.

I used to wear a white shirt to work and it got out ink, blood, and coffee stains.

Ha, I didn't even open this post initially because I can't find ANYTHING that can beat the stains R manages to bring home from daycare. I finally came in hoping there would be some miracle!

For white clothes that even bleach and oxinclean didn't help, I've saved a few with lemon juice and laying out in the sun. It's too much work for anything not important though. Not sure what it would do on colors.

I'm surprised Oxy doesn't work for so many people. My method is:

Run the clothing under water, spray it, rub the clothing together, run under water again, spray again, let it soak in the sink.

Repeat if really bad stain.

Wash as normal.

I haven't had anything not come out yet.

For me, oxiclean eventually works. Not always the first time. If it's really bad, I'll soak in oxiclean for like 2 days, changing out the water twice a day or so. I don't dry the item until I'm sure the strain is out.

The stain in question is a poop stain on a pink dress. (The dress she met her great-great grandma in). My BMB girls suggested a mix of oxy and dawn rubbed in with a toothbrush. I did that and washed and air dried. Lightened but it is still there. I soaked in oxy for 6 hours and washed and air dried again, no luck. wet it and set outside on the next sunny day. Stain still there

Maybe I'll try soaking it for 2 days like Pooh had luck and if not, I'll try amaranth's lemon juice method. I'd love to be able to save this dress- it's my favorite nb outfit of hers/the significance of meeting my busha)
