Would this new degree help or hurt trying to get a new job? (My sister mentioned some things about not hiring over qualified teachers in her district but I don't know details).
If you went for a smester or two and it just got too overwhelming would you still see a small pay bump from adding say 6 or 10 more credits, even if you don't finish?
amaranth , I just realized I made a mistake in my first post. Finishing the degree would give me an extra 15 credits, so I would be at a masters plus 45. Our salary only moves in 15 credit increments, so I would need to finish it in order to get the raise. Based on my current education, I am already considered highly qualified by the department of education. If I do ever need a new job though, the district would have to pay me more due to the extra credits.
I sort of feel like I should just finish what I started, but I'm feeling lazy.
I'd suck it up and do it, but I'd be miserable and complain the whole time. lol. So, not a huge help.
Will you regret it or feel forever lazy if you don't finish?

That's a tough call, especially because you have a deadline you have to be done by and coincides with J being so young (which I know it's important to you to spend time with him).
You guys are for sure OAD (i.e. No pregnancy planned between now and winter 2018)?
I started my MBA when DH and I were dating. It was paid for by my company. I also have a MS degree but the MBA would have made me way more marketable. Ultimately I decided to stop progress when we got engaged because the plan was always for me to SAH (and payment from my company wasn't 100% unless I took it really slow, they only paid so much per year). But you plan to keep working so that makes me lean more towards finishing...but not 100%, I could easily see not wanting to do it and you already have a masters and it's only $2k/year...so I could go either way. If the $2k/year helps you considerably more and you are up for finishing then do it. If not, then try to keep life as simple as possible right now. You already have a lot on your plate!
I was in this boat. I chose to finish it, so I just finished my extra credits in March so will be starting this upcoming year maxed out at MA + 40. I figured the sooner I got it done, the sooner I was maxing out the amount I could earn per year. Some semesters I took 3 classes (summers I did 3 at the same time, I did a max of 2 at same time in fall spring, sometimes would take 2 at same time with 1 week overlapping with 3rd class in fall/spring- mine were online 8 week classes though).

I'd probably finish since a) you already started and may be annoyed with yourself down the line that you didn't suck it up and b) get tuition reimbursement anyhow.
