We installed a fog free mirror in our guest bath tonight and I went to clean it with windex and a micro fiber cloth and realized the texture was different. I could not glide smoothly and a lot of lint was left on the mirror. Ugh. I wish we just installed a regular one, I never thought it would be an issue to clean. Google recommended not spraying directly on the mirror, using a lint free cloth and spraying on that and circular motions. Still seems to have lint and steaky. I guess maybe I need glass cleaning wipes? Other ideas?
ETA: Should have read the reviews, others have had these issues. This is what we had bought:
I don't have a fog free mirror, but I clean all glass/mirrors (plus Crome, brushed nickel, and stainless steel) in my house with Norwex window cloths. They don't leave lint and after 5 years of constant use, I have just now started to notice occasional streaking. I just get one damp, wipe the mirror and polish/dry with the other one.
I've spent a small fortune buying other microfiber cloths trying to avoid buying MLM products, but these are simply much better. And worth the money.
