I just started reading Eat Pray Love I'm 60+ pages into it and I'm not into the book at all. Is it worth reading? So many people have spoken so highly about it I figured I would like it. 😞

I read EPL years ago, but don't remember it being anything fab. So that probably means it wasn't.
suzv and I have discovered we are similar thriller fans. Earlier this year, I read The Kind Worth Killing (which I liked) and The Silent Wife (liked less).
I really loved Tell the Wolves I'm Home which I read last year or the year before.
awick14 Coming from someone who reads one magazine article 2 nights a week because I have no time to read...so take this with a grain of salt. But I did feel that the EPL movie is much better. I read the book when DH and I first got married and it was eh.
EPL was kind of annoying. Like your divorce is not 800 million times more devastating than other people's, but most don't have the means to travel the world to get over it.
That said, I really liked Wild, which is also a memoir of overcoming grief.
Loved The Night Circus and The Martian! I recently read Lilac Girls, which was excellent but devastating (Holocaust).
