Advice needed on joint bday party

My DD is invited to her friend's 7th birthday party next week. It's a joint party for DD's friend (who is a girl) and her twin brother. DD is friends with the girl, but not the boy. (She does know him since they were all in the same class).

I was planning on just getting a gift for the girl. But then I got a stab of fear that she should be bringing 2 gifts...

Advice?

I'd get a gift for the twin. Maybe a book.

I would probably bring something small for the twin, too - especially if both of the kids' names were on the invitation.

Thx. I just asked DD what she thought he'd like and she had no idea since she doesnt play with him at all. My kids pick out their friends gifts. I guess ill take her to the book store.
