While people are making product recommendations, can someone recommend a good, super moisturizing foot lotion? I lotion up after taking a shower and put lotion on my feet when I go to bed but they still aren't very soft on my heels. Help!
My grandma has this violent aggressive coarse bath loofa from Kuwait. She used to use it with her the "watermelon soap" which smelled nothing like watermelon. I think it's an Arabic soap... I'll Hve to google it it smelled but you were literally squeaky clean like your skin squeaked.
Nabulsi soap from west bank
My grandmother used to bring shitloads of this stuff over every summer. Plus new loofah loaf things. Except they never got soft. They were like week old crusty bread that basically took off three layers of skin as she scrubbed the hell out of you. #sitididntfuckaroundwithhygeine.

Ya that's the same aggressive violent loofa my Bebe had... Im pretty sure it was like a stone from some Remote cave in Westbank. Lol but hey she is like 85 with super soft skin so maybe they're worth the burn.
The moment I was introduced to l'occitane my life changed.
Ok so tell me about their almond shower oil. It says "cleansing and softening"...so...do you wash with it or is it an after-soap oil? (I love almond anything)Â
I use it as bubble bath because I also love almond, but didn't like the way it lathered as body wash. It is a little moisturizing but not enough to be able to skip actual lotion. Just more than regular soap.
I was out somewhere and I noticed the woman next to me was washing her hands similar to me, in between fingers, getting the tops, running our nails along our palms, etc and I made a joke that it seems like I am prepping for surgery and she said that she was a nurse and it is just habit.

Well. At this late stage, there is little for me to say.
Except that, every time I read an old linked thread and think something while reading it eons later, I eventually see my own post stating exactly what I still think today.

Consistent!
I'm always terrified that I'll go into an old thread and find out I was one of the idiots.

I am so happy I am not alone in this. lol I already cringe enough when I think back to my twenty-something and earlier self.

Someone in my moms group just posted that she only bathes her kid once a week due to dry skin and she doesn't know what to do now that her kid will be in the pool often with sunscreen. Everyone recommended bathing more and...,,LOTION! How timely!

I use the Rinse Peppofoot Moisturizing Stick at night and the Lush Scrubee in the morning when I shower. The Scrubee helps get rid of rough spots and the cocoa and shea butters help keep my feet happy all day.

The thought of all those kids wearing sunscreen and bug spray and not getting properly bathed makes me gag, even more so than the thought of them not being regularly bathed to begin with.
When you are in a public restroom and people squirt soap in their hands then rinse it off without rubbing it in...that is not how you wash your hands, people. Gross.
I will say that I did switch to a washcloth from a puffy thing after the last discussion. DH still likes the puffy thing so I wash it in the dishwasher. But I will maintain that a puffy thing is better than nothing at all. Nothing can beat a washcloth for scrubbing off sunscreen and bug spray, though, except maybe one of those loofah things or a smooth pumice. SaveSave

Oh my gosh. This thread will never end.
But... your loofah in the dishwasher?
Yep. You can sanitize all sorts of stuff in the dishwasher.
