I like it. I don't really need it on day 2, but if I want to go another day it's definitely worth it for me. My hair is thick and wavy/curly and I don't really get too much oil, but it works well to control the odor. I like the Treseme, and also just tried the new Pantene one and really like that too.
Yes, definitely worth it for me. I thought it was all hype until I got a dry shampoo sample. I get oily roots and dry shampoo gives me an extra 1-2 days between washing.
It's worth it for me. I have thick wavy/curly hair and I only wash it every third/fourth day. I used to love Batiste but the new Tresemme formula is so much better. It actually gives some volume and bounce back to my hair. I can't go crazy with the stuff though because I don't brush my hair and it can be hard to get all the powder out. I also use hair oil on the ends of my hair to help keep it moisturized and less frizzy.

I use it after I work out - I have dry hair, so I cannot wash it every day, but the sweat after a workout doesn't smell too pretty. Dry shampoo helps soak up the moisture, and removes the sweat smell.

It worked for me when I had long hair. Now I have short hair and I wake up looking like Flock of Seagulls every morning so I have to wash it, but I do much less heat styling and I get it cut VERY frequently so there is less opportunity for damage.
I used it for a long time and noticed more hair shedding. It got really bad for awhile and once I stopped using it, I stopped having the problem. I wash every 3 days instead of every 4. When I did use it, Klorane was my favorite.
Worth it in a pinch. I don't use dry shampoo regularly, since I have a dry scalp. But there are occasionally days like today where I need it. I'm on day 4 hair and needed to shampoo this morning, and guess who overslept and had a whopping 20 minutes to get ready? So far my favorite is Living Proof.
yes, worth it for me. I don't mind washing my hair, but it can't handle heat damage every day. so I use dry shampoo to extend the time between heat styling. I can get 2-3 days. my favorite is plain old baby powder, tbh.

The reason why I ask is because my hair gets so limp after a couple of days. However, my scalp isn't oily, I have really fine, curly/wavy hair and a ton of it. I shed like a mofo already so SallyJ has scared me. My secret fear is that I will be bald when I'm older.
All that being said, I'm not sure dry shampoo is the solution I am looking for.

Good solution for limp hair is bumble & bumble Don't Blow It.
But dry shampoo can help too. I sometimes hit my roots off before going out to give my hair a bit of a lift.
I use batiste.
Whatever you use, I don't recommend Dry Bar, which has a scent that does not die.

In that case, I recommend getting a curl enhancer spray. I use Jessicurl Awe Inspirling curl, or a sea salt spray (probably a high-end loreal product from my hair dresser), or AG Curl Trigger. I have fine wavy hair and a medium amount of it. The curl enhancer sprays refresh my waves and add some texture for day 2/3.

oily use to be my issue but now I do it mainly for the limp hair. I haven't personally noticed an increase in shedding.
Blows dry shampoo is my favorite - it's not a spray, but can be put straight into hair (I hate putting it in my hand lol), no scent and a bottle lasts forever.
A coworker told me my favorite technique: put the dry shampoo in the night before. Don't bother blending it in. Wake up with hair with body. Win.
I am the dissenting view. I've tried numerous and I don't like it. I just resolve to wash my hair every day I leave the house.
I do give it a break when I work from home (two to three days a week), but those days it's such a greasy mess I would be mortified if even our mailman saw me.
Hair type: Very oily, and by the end of the day, I can stick my hands in my hair and have a "something about mary" type of "gelled" hairdo. It's not cute.
(Snarkily anticipating the "wash it less! it will normalize!" suggestions: It just doesn't work for me. I went weeks w/o washing due to a few brain surgeries in quick succession, and then baby shampoo for months. It never leveled out and was an oil slick for about a year until I could use real shampoo.) My hair was just meant to be oily.)
I liked your post because I am the same way with a greasy head no matter what I do.
There is no "training" this mop, it just looks like I used Crisco on my roots the next day, no matter what I do.
I am sorry abut the brain surgeries though. I didn't want you to think I was liking that part.

The scent of dry shampoo is what keeps me from using it on a regular basis. Most have a strong scent that ends up giving me a headache. Otherwise, dry shampoo extends my wash, but the feel of the dry shampoo in my hair is weird. I only use it if I absolutely have to. It does help to put volume back into the roots.
I have scalp psoriasis, and dry shampoo makes it so much worse. But before I accepted that fact, I really liked using it when I was going to do an up-do and wanted to tease my hair and give it lift at the root.
My favorite is Living Proof, but I'm now committed to not buying spendy hair or skin products.

French Girl (sold on Etsy and Anthropologie) has a dry shampoo powder that is virtually scent-less. It's made of rice powder and crushed rose petals. That said, it's a bit gritty.

take a look at blow dry shampoo. Zero smell. It's sold at ulta. It's my favorite. I'm repeating myself, but a bottle lasts forever.
I think I'm way outside the norm, but I wanted to comment that I think a lot of people don't know how to use dry shampoo. I base this off the fact that 2 people I know at a recent gtg didn't "wash" it in with their fingers, they just left it a white mess in their hair. I tried to tell them, but they were all, "This is how I use it, it's fine." Uh, no, no it's not. Please don't go out in public like that.
