Hi! I mostly hang out with Working Parents, which just moved over here as well. I was a lurker and occasional poster on TCF and will probably continue to check in here.

I missed my support group too much so I caved and came here. Not going to follow parenting to the other place though - I don't need another upheaval in a year or two.

Glad you've decided to join us! It's been a bit quiet here, since there aren't many of us and I'm not very good at starting new threads. You will also find some familiar faces over in the Special Needs board.

I haven't gone over there yet but i did glance around at some of the other groups here and it looks like this one has more ladies on the tail end of their childbearing years than TCF so there's more support for menopause rather than a total focus on getting pregnant and infertility.

I know it seems weird to say "me three" since I'm currently KU @ 41, but I honestly wonder if I'll go into MP after this one finishes BF! I know it'd be somewhat early but has definitely crossed my mind.

One of the local DS group moms snapped it at one of Pip's baseball games earlier this month.  I decided since it's not a full face or profile shot it'd make a great profile pic.

I'm 47 now and the hot flashes started late last summer.  First time I didn't burrow under dh in the bed all winter for being cold in the middle of the night - in that aspect they were great. Last night sucked as it was cool outside so I had the window by my head open - my arms and shoulders were freezing like it was mid-winter and my legs were sweating like it was middle of a major heat wave.

Sorry for raising the dead up in here, but I'm just trying to find out where everyone landed and settled after the major upheaval over at TCF.

I was following along with everyone during the move and migration, up until my Tapatalk app couldn't find "A Place to Meet" anymore. I sort of got lost trying to keep up, and figured I'd wait until the dust settled before looking for everyone again.

Oh hey, beachbum22 -- great to hear from you! The place where everyone ended up got renamed to However it Happened. Hopefully it should just show up if you do a search for it. You are, of course, welcome to hang out here. Mostly it's just me and pipsqueak, but Zara and chickypoo are also around, I usually see them in the Special Needs board. Working parents from TCF is also here (scroll down to communities), it's a pretty active group.
