Is there anything that you do that is weird or that you don't need to do?

I type addresses into google maps even though I know where they are just to see how month it will take me to get there. (Ex this am I typed in the parks address that my friend and I met at for our walk) I do this so that I can time getting to places better. Lol

Another one. The other day when my sister and I went to a cider festival (an event where 20 cideries came together to do tastings of their ciders) and a girl asked one of the booths if their cider tastes like apples. They said yes it is apple based so there is a hint of apple flavor. Her response "o ok, I don't like apples so I'll try elsewhere." It's a freakin cider event. 99% of ciders are made with apples wtf! Lol

There are a lot of weird things I do that I don't need to. lol.

I write the date on every open food container/leftovers package. Then, every time I get into it I have to check the date I wrote on it at least four separate times. When I take it out of the fridge/pantry, when I open it, when I close it, when I put it back in the fridge/pantry, and sometimes I go back and check it again before I start eating. Every time I check the date, I verbally remind myself of what today's date is and how long ago the date on the package is.

Gotta love OCPD.

-Well, this is absurd but I write what color of lid goes with each sippy cup with sharpie so my husband doesn't mismatch them. Lol.

-I keep like 12 packs of gum in my car so I never run out.

-Oh, I just was telling my husband this last week. Old habits die hard. I still take a book with me every time I leave the house. I started this at like age 6 and have never stopped, in spite of the fact that having kids doesn't leave time for reading in line, etc. But regardless of having not read a book in public in probably 3 years, I will go back in the house to grab one if I forgot it. You know, just in case.

I kiss my hand and touch the ceiling of the car when I go under yellow lights. It's a habit I picked up in high school from some of my friends. Unfortunately, I embarrassed myself by doing it in front of a co-worker on Monday. Sigh...

I have to leave the radio station at a certain station when I turn off my car.

MrsMB I've never heard of that either.

-my personal bag for the fire house has to be a certain way. I even sealed it so I know if someone touched it and used my stuff.

- if I spill salt, I always toss a little salt over my shoulder.

- I always have to have wind chimes outside my front door to keep evil spirits away.

MrsMB - For us it was just for good luck. Like holding your breath when you drive over a bridge.
