How much do you pay for an exam?

Like just a basic exam at your regular vet - not e-vet?  What is your location?  

I've seen prices range from $29 at the "value" vet to over $60 - just to be seen.  <--both in the same city

It's around $50 for us to walk in the door. However, by the time routine testing and vaccines/titers are done, it costs about $450 for an annual exam. We're in NY, about 50 miles north of NYC, so HCOL.

We pay $48 for a basic exam (Central FL).

Of course, it is never just a basic exam, and we always have 2-4 dogs at a time....so $$$

$50ish for the exam. Of course I can't find one of the million receipts I know I have around. Tests, nail trims and meds are extra.

I believe that its $60 an exam, in Southern California. I don'6t know for sure since its never just an exam. I did go recently for a bandage change and it was only $160 or so when we left.

My vet charges $35 for an exam but I don't think I've ever walked out of there paying $35 (my dogs always need meds or vaccines when we go). I live just outside of Baltimore.

We pretty much only go to our "regular" vet if something is wrong. We go to a low-cost clinic for shots and heartworm meds.

This. I found a low cost vaccine clinic for shots and heartworm meds. It might be worth checking out if your dog is relatively healthy.
