1) i'm in need of a new hairbrush. now, i don't brush my hair all that often - i have waves/curls and usually just comb through/separate with my fingers. but if i have straightened my hair, which i do fairly often, i will brush it. so, i'm looking for quality, something that will last for a long time, but not crazy expensive. any recommendations?
2) my DH gets a lot of acne on his head. he has tried the neutrogena Tgel shampoo and it really helped the first time, but it's gotten worse again even though he's still using the same shampoo. it's not as noticeable in the winter because he lets his hair get longer, but in the summer prefers a buzzcut and it just looks awful. any recommendations for him?
If he's got a buzz cut could he just use face products on his head? Like, to work into his scalp before bed? Something like the A-sol toner. (I'm not in any way an acne expert, so I don't have a list of product recs, but I'm sure others do)
alternatively a lot of dandruff shampoos have salicylic acid which might help. Try the T/Sal instead of the T/Gel. I find tea tree oil helpful on my occasional breakouts - no idea if it's useful for more extensive acne, but there's a lot of tea tree oil based hair products you could try. Or just buy some straight up and add a few drops to something else.
hairbrush...DD has straight hair and I use a pretty standard boar bristle type paddle brush on her. Of course I haven't got the slightest clue what brand it is. I didn't pay more than like $25 for it though and it's held up for 2 years now.
