What's the going rate for teeth?

Have we talked about this yet?  We've got a loose tooth here and I want to make sure I have cash on hand.  He keeps telling me that the tooth fairy brings gold coins, so maybe just a dollar or two in coin form?  He's not really into money, so I don't think he'd be upset if it weren't a lot.

Katelyn has #6 & 7 that are loose. The top two teeth. I'm sad it won't be around Christmas, Kalvin lost his a month before Christmas and I kept playing All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth and he kept saying no I want Legos. He was not amused.

I have a bunch of gold dollar coins back when they were trying to make the dollar coin happen. I got a boatload at my bridal shower that someone saved.

For Henry we did $5 for the first tooth and a dollar for every subsequent tooth. I had to sneak into his room a few times to "borrow" cash from his piggy bank to then use for the tooth fairy. Mother of the year!

In Canada I will use a toonie it's a two dollar coin it's gold and silver also the one dollar coin is gold. In the US I'd give some coins maybe 1.50 so he gets coins and a bill
