Yay, it's Friday!!! Any fun plans for the weekend?
We were supposed to spread my moms ashes Sunday but my step dad didn't write down the date and now has plans OOT (and it's just a very small group of us so we can reschedule to next month). So no plans here. It's going to be in the 80s all weekend...might see if DH wants to take the boys to the lake...he can paddle board and maybe I can manage both boys in the water! Also want to run, maybe go to church, lots of walks and park time.
Today is all about getting chores done though. L was up at 4:45 and isn't really going back to sleep so today might be interesting.
Getting allergy testing done as I type (literally. I'm naked from the waist up with dots on my back).
After this, I'm packing up the car and then we are collecting E and heading to family church camp for the weekend! It's going to be cooler than I'd like though-- highs in the mid 70s.
Today I am home sick from work for the second day. If I get a load of towels done and the sink of dishes washed, I will consider it a success.
Tomorrow we are going to our local Gymboree Play and Learn- they are closing and selling their gym equipment, so im hoping to get something cheap for our basement play area. In the afternoon my parents are having C over to help my dad plant his garden and we're going to attempt to get some yard work done.
I'm suppose to go to work later with H. I'm not sure now since I'm a moron and ran to answer my phone, slid on a small rug by my sink and hit my head on the floor when I landed. Que headache. I'm still laughing at myself lol. We also have a demo fireworks shoot later. FX the Tylenol kicks in soon. I'm such an idiot.
Tomorrow is touch a truck at the fire house then fire company picnic.
Sunday we have a birthday then baby sprinkle party. It's at the same house. I may just drop of presents then come home to hang out with DH.
We're headed to my parents tonight. Tomorrow my dad's work is doing a block party and Sun we're meeting up with H's cousin at a parade. I'm excited to meet their little girl! She's about 2 months old.
We are headed OOT for BIL's wedding weekend. I have managed to pack up, feed, wash, and dress myself, DD and DS. We are meeting H at the rehearsal since he had to work. I'm a little worried driving alone 1.5 hours because I've been awake since 2:30am with a fussy baby and I'm so exhausted. Luckily my parents will also be at the wedding to help, and they will keep B in their hotel room the night of the wedding so the baby doesn't wake her. B is the flower girl and she is SO excited. Hopefully I can keep DS quiet during the ceremony, but if I've learned anything these last few weeks it's don't have any expectations of a 2 week old

TGIF!
No plans, just trying to adjust back to our normal routine and get some sleep. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous so hoping for lots of outdoor time.
Everyone has fun plans so I hope you all have safe travels and good weather as well!
MIL picked up G this morning to keep her overnight. So far C and I have been hanging out and getting a bit of cleaning done. My mom came over for a bit which was nice.
Just planning on cleaning while I can. We have been booked every weekend for months so I'm happy to have an easy weekend.
My appetite has completely disappeared since I got my BC removed. I went from being hungry all the time and getting hunger pains if I didn't eat something every two hours, to needing to remind myself to eat throughout the day. I don't necessarily feel sick, I'm just not hungry at all and when I do eat my portions have been smaller.
Wedding dress shopping with my sister all today and it was a say yes to the dress sort of story. We went two places and she had tried on a gown she loved in TX but neither place had that specific dress in stock for her to compare. She found an off the rack dress for cheap that checked most of the boxes but she couldn't get the TX dress out of her head, so we packed up to leave and she schedule an appointment at a third place to see the original dress another day. As we were walking out she saw this huge ball gown (which she didn't want, and had only need trying on fitted silohettes) and she swooned and decided to try it on. She started to cry and freak out and on the spot said "sold, this is my dress, I never expected to love any dress this much!" And she paid on the spot. Lol! The funniest part is when we walked in, I told my mom that dress was amazing but she'd never like it, so we didn't even point it out.
I wish I could show a photo but she'd be mad. It literally looks like a gown from Gone With The Wind.
I got a haircut and blowout today and feel so much better! Our pool is now ready to use, so I hope to enjoy it both days this weekend. We also have a birthday party to go to tomorrow and an air show on Sunday. Should be a fun weekend!
