I just want to tell someone. Looks like I have officially weaned DD3 from the night/nap nursing that we were still doing. She turned 2 in January. I never thought I would go this long, but it just happened. I've either been pregnant or breastfeeding for most of the last 9 years! It's awesome and we were more than ready to be done, but still bittersweet, too. I'm having lots of feelings lately on moving out of the baby stage. It's a big change. I am excited to be done nursing but it's weird to close that door forever, you know? Time keeps moving on!
That's awesome work, 2 years is a big accomplishment!
DS weaned just over a year ago, and to be honest, it still kind of feels weird. Like, even though I know he's done, I still can't believe it. I guess because it consumed so much time during the years he was nursing, it's hard to just "not" do it now. Weird, I know - lol.

Congrats on being done, but oh yeah, I get the big feelings. DS weaned a year and a half ago, at just over 2.5. After almost 5.5 years of nursing, I was done. But it's a hard door to close. Luckily DS is still the snuggliest. "Poop" and "stupid" are all he ever says anymore, but the snuggles are fantastic.
