I had one, but was never really a fan of it. If anything, I used it as a second layer of protection over a swim diaper. When Andrew pooped in the pool, it was gnarly. I much preferred throwing the diaper away than the idea of having to wash it out and reuse it.

I used reusable and disposable swim diapers and both let so much water in that poop quickly became a huge mess. I feel like both give you a false sense of security. Both let pee come and go, obviously. And both don't contain poop well and only contain it for a very short time.
I liked using the reusable because they are cheaper/better for environment, but I was very diligent about not letting them swim if I knew they needed to poop soon. If I started to see signs of straining, they played out of the pool until they were finished. I know that only works when they are a little older....
They are both awful to change poop diapers in lol. I do reusable because I feel it keeps the poop in the diaper longer assuming you have a good fit. We have used iPlay brand mainly. Luckily neither of my kids poop much in the pool (now that I say this H is going to start doing it every time!).
I have the iplay one and the 2 times it has been pooped in were gnarly to clean up. I use either disposable (which doesn't do much imo) or a diaper cover by itself. I figure if that gets popped in at least it's easy to unsnap
I cloth diapered Daniel but there's something truly spectacular about swim diapers and poop, I mostly used disposable after the one and only pool poop we had. I do toss the swim diapers in the washer (assuming no poop of course) and hand them to dry. You can get a couple of uses out of one disposal that way.
