Back on the GBCN train....
I just posted on secondary infertility but I'm like 99% sure that no one goes there anymore, so can I go here?
We spent almost 20 months TTC #1 and after 4 months of TTC #2 we're headed back to the RE on Thursday. I'm not sure why I thought it would be different this time around (except that like all of my IRL infertility friends got a BFP on month #1) but it's not. I'm so irrationally sad about it.
Everyone on TTTC was so amazing last time, I was hoping to find some community again this time.
Hello! I have been hanging out here a little bit, similar boat (unfortunately). I also had the thought we were going to magically get pregnant with #2 after having to do IVF for #1. I heard so many stories from people I do actually know who didn't need any help for later pregnancies. Well, it hasn't happened so we are likely going to be doing IVF later this summer unless our final FET works.
Thanks for the warm welcome friends! I was a little nervous to post on the main board because I didn't know how that would be received knowing that this is #2 for me.
I hate that we're all back here, but glad for the community.

I am not sure about that either so I mostly don't post any questions there, but I would like to, since many of those ladies are going through IVF currently and I feel like there have been some changes since I did it 3 years ago.
People have been welcoming to me, and those of us who have BTDT can answer questions the newer folks have. I remember when farmvillelover came through TTC her #2 with FET, we welcomed her too. IF is IF is IF, whether you're TTC your first, second, or fifth.
I posted on the main board while TTC#2. I didn't have TTTC for #1, so it didn't occur to me to post on the grads board. I just never talked about my son over there, other than my intro post that mentioned I had a son. Everyone was very kind and seemed to accept me, although I guess I don't know if they were bothered and just didn't say anything. good luck swiftlyirun. I'm sorry you're headed back to the RE, but I think there's some comfort in knowing that you're doing what you need to do to give it the best possible chance.
Welcome back! I don't check in here often but am also TTC #3 (we had twins the first time). This month is our last try on our own month, next month we are doing a FET.
