Who celebrated? I fucking loved Comey Day!

Like I told TrudyCampbell this morning, I've always* said James Comey is a beacon of justice and truth and makes excellent decision making.

I didn't go in with the expectation that Jim Comey was going to stand up in front of the Senate and say "Donald Trump gets peed on by Russian prostitutes while Jared Kushner watches from a secret room in the Russian embassy." That ain't Comey's style. He's craftier than that. I think he very carefully he laid out the dots for people to connect. And by people, I mean his BFF 4eva Bob Muller.

In the case of he said-he said, people (and I mean people who matter in this case, not the random Trump supporters and conspiracy theorists, but senators and prosecutors) will always believe Comey. Always. And Lordy, I hope there are tapes too, Jim.

I wanted to watch today so bad, but had to work. I played it on my cell for a bit, but my damn phone kept ringing so I turned it off.

I didn't get a chance to watch anything live, but I was catching up all afternoon. It's fascinating watching this unfold...

I watched most of it before the children interfered. But, I've caught up through other means. He is so prepared. Covered his bases, laid the groundwork for more questioning, handled everything with the precision I thought he would.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in closed door sessions. I feel like there are many more closed door meetings to be held. I think his subtle innuendo was spot on. Casually mentioning VP and investigations, making sure it's known that Mueller he his memos. I want it all to go in a blaze of glory.
Also, Tweeto's lawyer is just digging the ditch.
