I finished Wolves on Wednesday and would love to discuss it.
I really enjoyed it. The characters were all interesting. The relationship between June and her sister was so complicated and well-written. Her poor sister was under so much stress and pressure. It was definitely relatable for me.
Toby was just all-around so sweet and heartbreaking. His whole story had me sobbing at the end.
This book had so many good passages, I don't think I've ever highlighted that much on my kindle ever.
I really enjoyed that book! I found the child's perspective on AIDS to be really interesting, and especially how the narrator's perspective differed from her sister's.
I loved this book so much! The relationship that June had with Toby was so genuine and warm. I also liked that the story explored love and how we experience it outside the single definition of romantic love.
