My favorite part of a vacation is the stack of books I get to bring with me. I will be at the beach July 1-8 and I'm already anticipating reading all the books.
I want to read the All Souls trilogy (starts with A Discovery of Witches), Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy, and Splendor Falls by Susanna Kearsley.
Anyone else looking forward to some vacation reading?

Summer vacation isn't until December here so I have a while to think about it. I'm a bit nervous because we're flying to the US to meet my family for a holiday Panama Canal cruise. I had planned to bring my Kindle and only 1 or 2 paper books, but with the possible electronics ban on international flights to the US, I am not sure about that plan anymore. I'll probably take a stack of paper books that I was planning on reading and giving away. I'll leave them either on the ship's book exchange or drop them off at a donation center before I leave.
It's really frustrating because I was really trying to make this year a light luggage trip. And I am not checking my laptop or Kindle. Also, I hate reading on my phone for many length of time -- it's great for when I'm waiting places, but I hate to read whole books on it when I sit down to really read.
So while I was going to read a bunch of books I have on the Kindle on vacation, I am having to re-think that plan now.
