I haven't watched this show since Kurt was being bullied and went off to that private school. Whatever I was watching on the DVR last night stopped and FOX was the channel the TV was on. The scene was Kurt's dad dropping him off at the airport. I bawled like a fucking baby. I even cried again this morning in the shower just thinking about it.

I was pretty happy with it. The only part that bothered me was the very end where Kurt told her to turn around and he was standing there. As a NYer there are times that people are standing right in front of you and you can't find them, the idea that he just happened to be in the same place was ridiculous.
The acting with Puck's brother was terrible, I'm hoping it was just an awkward scene and it won't be so bad going forward.
Not a fan of Unique, never was.
I loved NY State of Mind, I just hope they don't make Marley too much like Rachel.
I liked it well enough. Last season was so bad I didn't think we'd watch. If it gets bad, we'll probably dump it. But the first episode was decent. I have to say that Kurt, Blaine and Rachel are my favorite characters and I don't really care about the rest. I'd rather they just focus on Kurt and Rachel in NY. I also hope this isn't the last we see of Kurt's dad. Their relationship is definitely a highlight of the show.
ETA: What happened to Finn? Is he gone? I wish I knew which graduated characters are gone for good and which are coming back. Oh yeah, and the whole Puck's brother-he-didn't-know about storyline is dumb.

Finn went to joint the Army. Rumor has it he will return permanently in a few more episodes.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

I thought he did graduate? He retook that geography test and just barely passed, but it was enough to graduate. I could be remembering wrong though, most of last season bored me.
I told myself I wasn't going to watch this season, but I got sucked back in. I think bringing in the new blood has helped a lot, but I'd be okay if they just focused on Rachel and Kurt. If things dip back down, I'll quit for good.

I just want the story to focus on Rachel and Kurt in NYC now. But I guess I have Smash for that.
LOL, yeah love Smash!
I liked the episode. I was pretty over it last year though so... the new season can work OR not work and I will be just fine. I missed the graduates but like seeing Rachel (and now Kurt!) in NY and I like the new girl. She has a great voice.

I was over it last season, but the few new characters and a change of scenery had me feeling more into it. I hope the seniors stop acting so douchey, though.
