Do you remember how you signed up for it? We just moved to a new region and a city with no military installation (so no Tricare Service Center) and I'm clueless about how to go about it. I'm guessing we have to call the region we're now in? How do we do the paperwork? online? fax? There's really nothing I dislike more in the military than dealing with Tricare, so I thought I'd ask here first.

I did when I was active guard. You *might* be able to do it online. I was not but some prime remote areas are eligible for online enrollment. Since I was already Tricare prime before hand, I just called and they switched my status and my PCM. The area I was in had a huge teaching my hospital so my PCM was an attendee but I saw the residents all the time. I think you said YH is going back to school so just something to keep in mind.
We have a huge teaching hospital here too. I've already been to its ER So actually, I'd like to stick with the SUNY system and I searched online to find their Family Practice Department is listed as Tricare PCMs. So that's good. Now I guess I need to suck it up and call to get switched. Thanks!
