Good evening ladies. I hope you don't mind me coming over to ask for help. My FET is scheduled for 7/6 and I wanted to inquire about what sort of "prep" you all did for successful transfer cycles. We only have 2 embryos so I'm willing to try nearly anything to increase my odds. I'm planning on making an appointment with a fertility acupuncturist. Any and all anecdotes welcomed.
May I piggyback onto this? My transfer is tentatively scheduled for July 25. I'm in the bcp, mock transfer, lining up all my ducks phase. So far I'm not doing anything to prep other than what HAS to be done.

Good luck!!
I've done two FETs and transferred 3 embryos total. I much preferred the frozen cycles to my fresh transfer. The only things I did besides protocol were a little woo woo. I ate spicy foods on transfer day and drank warm/lukewarm drinks, I kept my feet warm, and rested/watched funny things the day of.
My RE's office was also researching using Lupron at transfer because there's evidence it helps. I did the shot both times, and I *think* I got saline my first time and Lupron the second. I can't confirm that, but it might be something to ask about.
ETA: My last transfer used our last two embryos, so I feel you on the pressure. But it really does only take one!
Just wanted to say good luck! I did not do IVF but have done acupuncture (mainly to help with my anxiety). I would say that if you're thinking of doing it, maybe have a trial session well before your transfer so you get used to the needles and decide if it's for you. They didn't bother me, but I've heard some women find they hurt and don't like it at all. Probably best not to do something brand new that stresses you out or causes you pain on the day of.
I didn't do anything other than what my RE told me to do before (shots, full bladder, etc) but afterwards I was on strict bed rest the remainder of the first day and I kept it really light, mostly bed rest the following 2 days. I know many others who went back to work but I took full advantage of the recommended bed rest.
I skipped acupuncture(I did it for earlier IUIs and found it stresses me out).
I did get a whole bunch of stuff to help me relax - candles, flowers, magazines, sappy movies, snacks, etc to use the night before, day of transfer and day after. I do think being relaxed helped me personally.
Oh, my only other note is I followed the instructions to fill my bladder and it was so overfull I was crying in the waiting room. They ended up letting me pee for a total of 30 seconds (!!) before transfer. If you are super uncomfortable, speak up.
I am currently holding the fussy result of my FET back in October.
I didn't do much prep. I had one cycle canceled due to fluid in my lining so for the second try I took Vitamin E every day and drank a shit ton of pomegranate juice. I also did acupuncture the day of my transfer.
I didn't really do anything for my FET. It was so much easier then a fresh IVF cycle. However, they didn't have me on anything but BCP's the first try and I had to cancel because I ovulated early. The next time I prepped with Lupron and that did the trick.
