What's everybody up to this weekend?

I'm trying to convince Andrew that we should celebrate Father's Day today, since DH is working all day tomorrow. He refuses, since it's not actually Father's Day. Maybe he'll change his tune when we go pick up the cookies we had made for the occasion. He's going to be absolutely distraught when he doesn't see his dad tomorrow. I keep trying to tell him, but he refuses to believe me.

Everyone is surprising fil at a restaurant tonight. Before then, we need to get the car an oil change and clean up our house.
Wes's first week at his new job was rough and totally wiped him out. And with him being the main cleaning person around the house, that means our house is in shambles.
But that's about to change, because I just put in my two weeks at my job yesterday! I'm going to miss my discount dearly. But my husband's sleep/health are more important. With me working, he was only getting 3 hours of sleep a night and then maybe getting to take a nap when I got home.

H is working an OT shift today to cover someone's vacation, DS1 has football camp this morning, and is going with BIL and FIL this afternoon. A friend and I are taking her twin boys, DS2 and DD to SkyZone today since it is going to be miserably hot and humid here today.

My H took the boys to the children's museum and out for lunch so that I can get some work done this morning. He's been away all away week, is jetlagged, and the boys are legitimate psychos this morning. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.

Yesterday was my birthday so we went to Cars 3, and then to my moms to play in the sprinkler, eat dinner, and ride horses. We didn't get home until 930p. The boys usually go to bed at 730p.

They are a mess this morning and even slept in until 830a. We went to the park just to get out of the house, but everyone is taking a nap this afternoon. We're going to the local car show late afternoon where there are bounce houses and paw patrol characters (I feel sorry for them in this heat!). Tomorrow is back to my moms for our annual Father's Day brunch, to my H's dad's to see him, and then Tball.

We moved out of the condo today and are staying at my parents tonight, then we head back home tomorrow. Trying to relax because this week Ruby has VBS 9-12 and then swim lessons 4-5. Ready to start summer and start getting ready for baby (I am due August 4th).

We had Father's Day breakfast today and tomorrow we're going to a brewery with my family. A wrapped my dad's present in a princess bag and made him a bracelet lol.

Stay at home. 😱 I have mixed feelings. But with his hours (4pm-2am mon-thurs) we will get from about 10am-3pm as a family to go out and do all sorts of fun stuff, so it should be pretty enjoyable. And it'll make it easy for doctor appointments and any other errands that require business hours.

Oh man. We were about 95% sure we were going to send W to the new STEM charter school but I just saw on FB that the board voted not to renew the director's contract. It seems kind of shady because they changed the board meeting at the last minute so it sounds like a lot of the parents weren't able to make it to the new time. Hmmm, I guess we'll wait to see if there is an explanation (it just happened last night)
