Hope everyone had a great weekend! What's everyone up to today and the rest of the week!?!

It's supposed to be mid 90s through Weds and then cools down to 80 the rest of the week. Not sure what we will do but I am thinking of visiting my step mom on weds at their business for her birthday. She will appreciate seeing the boys since she has to work so much these next few weeks and won't be able to.

I also need to do random chores like clean out/detail my car, clean the windows, dust upstairs, clean our master bathroom (the usual things that always stay stuck on my to do list).

Other than that I am strategizing things we can do indoors to stay cool in the afternoons...library, frozen yogurt, Starbucks, target, mall. Hopefully a couple play dates too and maybe a trip to the lake if my period ends (I am not a fan of these PP periods with Paraguard...makes me want to be pregnant again so I don't have a period LOL).

Still in Seattle. Have all day to myself Going to walk into a few salons and see if I can get a haircut, and lay in bed watching trash tv with junk food. I also need to buy some warmer clothes because I'm going hiking unexpectedly tomorrow in the mountains, which are cold and snowy!

Last night we had ice cream at an incredibly local place, and mine was "Lavender Honey" flavor. Omg, best ice cream ever. Maybe I'll walk back there for seconds today.

My vacation starts tomorrow, so I'm counting down the minutes until the end of my workday. I have family visiting from OOT and I haven't seen my Grandmother in 15 years, so it will be really great to spend some time with her. The weather is supposed to be nice all week so we're going to have a BBQ at our house on Thursday, which will be fun.

Nothing really going on this week! I made a meal plan and hope to stick to it. Oh, there is a parade that goes past our backyard on Wed so we'll probably watch that. That's about it!

Lesson learned. Don't wear heels when going to dinner in the city. My feet are cranky today. I didn't get to bed until midnight and up at 5:30. I'm tired.

This week I'm working my regular job Monday- Wednesday. Then working with DH Thursday and Friday. So it's a busy week. Saturday I'm going to a graduation party. I can't wait to relax and enjoy a few beers with friends. Plus it's in our backyard so no driving, just trying to walk up and down the hill.

DH is out of town for work, so I'm solo parenting until Wednesday. I also had an appointment with my RE this morning to check on stuff for my FET. I should study but I just want to watch tv.

New Hire Monday today. Blah.

I'm supposed to have nap-n-needles on Thursday. But we're still in the thick of training the new girl. My boss like to put chunks of training time on my calendar without seeing if I have meetings/interviews/etc. So I'll just have to cross my fingers she doesn't schedule on my appointment.

H bought a truck today! It's 2 years old, but has all the bells and whistles he wants. I'm excited for him because he's been driving his current truck since '08 and that was his grandpa's truck.

I'm about to get my hair done. Nothing too exciting, just a trim and color touch up.

We're leaving Thursday for a few days in Georgia for H's work. It's a big corporations meeting where families are invited, so we don't really have to plan anything. We just need to get packed.

My dog is pissing me right off today. She is ELEVEN, almost 12, and knows better, but she is chewing something different every five seconds tonight and I am OVER IT. Why does everyone else get nice normal dogs, and I get insane ones? I love her, but I wish I could send her off to college. I still want her to be mine, but I'd like her to go annoy someone else and come stay with me a few weekends a year and most of summer.

(Note: I love dogs, have volunteered for a rescue, and am not rehoming my dog. But man is she annoying.)

krystee - I feel your pain. My 12 year old dog decided to mark the new dog bed by peeing all over it while we were gone this evening. Like, enough pee that it soaked all the way through to the floor.

I hate not being able to check in during the day right now. (I used 90% of my data in the first week of my cycle, I guess my phone wasn't connecting to my home internet. 😞 So I have only been using wifi and when I would normally check in I haven't been able to connect to wifi.

tacocat- my FIL just got a new truck and it's so funny to see men with new (or new to them) vehicles. Like a kid in the candy store.

I went to a moms group today and I have my number to one of the other moms. (We have both been going to this group for 2-3 months now and our kids our 2 months different in age.)

We are going to meet up to go swimming on Thursday or Friday.

Yesterday was my 7th wedding anniversary. DH and I had a lunch date and we got to spend some time together.

We have gymnastics for G today. My grandma paid for her to be in class bur I think I'm going to pull her after this month and consider re-enrolling her in the fall. She keeps getting scared and running to us during class.

Friday big group play date at my friend's house. Woot.
