I'm intrigued by the setting sprays or refresher mists that contain sunscreen. I'm primarily looking for a way to reapply my sunscreen without messing up my makeup for those times that I'm going to be out and about, and need the protection (BBQs, GTGs, etc).
Anyone try these? Thoughts? I've seen one by Coola and maybe Supergoop, as well as an AB one.

I got a sample in my birchbox of the Coola one last year and I hated it. It smelled super chemically and tasted awful. (some got on my lips and when I ate/drank next it was all I could taste.)

Fuck the Superfgoop one.
It left a film over my makeup, ruined it and it felt sticky all day. I might as well sprayed sunscreen on my face because that's exactly what it felt like and smelled like.

THANK YOU! I read so many positive reviews on it that I was like, did we use the same product???
OMG I was sooooo angry. I was so excited because "Yay, sunscreen!" sprayed it and OMG, ruined face.

calico, LOL! Ugh, I mean, all that time spent putting makeup, only for the setting spray to ruin it. I know I should have tried it on my hands or something first but honestly, I guess I just had high expectations.
I saw that Kate Somerville also has one but I just read the reviews and they're not good either.

I'm watching some youtube reviews on the KS spray right now. So far, one reviewer liked it and she seems to have a similar skin type. I might try it, because well...Sephora.
mrsukyankee, which sunscreen do you use for that? My go-to is too shiny, as evidenced by DH accusing me of being covered in sweat the other day when I was sitting on the couch. Nope, not sweat, just super shiny sunscreen.

Disclaimer: I just received this and haven't tried it over makeup yet, but the Biore spray looks pretty great. I'm not sure how much extra protection it actually gives though, but it's got to be better than nothing, right? I got mine from eBay.

Have you tried any of the Biore Milk formulations? They have a very matte dry-down.

mrsukyankee , that's my normal go-to. Whomp, whomp.
pantsparty, I tried the Biore watery gel (I think) and it was too harsh on my skin. I'll order a milk one for over my face, since there would be some protection between my skin and the sunscreen if it is very alcohol-y.

Weird that it was too shiny. Another option would be the Hada Labo UV gel one, which is a bit more matt.

Ohh- I have that one. Haven't opened yet, but I ordered a few different sunscreens last month b/c I wanted something waterproof for the pool and other options for days that I'm really combo vs. dry. I also bought the Hado Labo milk one, which seemed fine. But I need to look at it specifically for shine.
