I'm giving myself a mini goal of getting a couple photobooks done in the next month or so (our wedding and the building of our house). Has anyone used some of the online options (i.e. Shutterfly) and have any opinions (good or bad) about the quality of the books?
My absolute favorite is Blurb, and they're the best deal if you make a book with a lot more than 20 pages. I used them for all my wedding/honeymoon books and still use them regularly for travel books, and turning a year's worth of blog posts into a book (so, lots of pages). I've always been very happy with them.
My second favorite is Shutterfly - I like their quality and like their new custom path options. I've always been really happy with them, too, and I use them regularly for smaller books and/or when I get a coupon.
I used MyPublisher for books for my bridesmaids/parents as wedding gifts and although the quality was nice, I had some problems with them not printing the last couple pages of a couple of my books. Granted, this was 5 years ago so they may have fixed whatever that glitch was, but I haven't used them since for that reason.
I've also used Mixbooks but don't love them. Their layouts are fun, but I think the quality is not as good and sometimes they crop their pages funny.
She has reviews of pretty much every photobook site out there, plus tips for book design. She also keeps track of pretty much any and all coupons out there for all the sites, so I always check here before making a photobook order!

I tend to default to Shutterfly, and the quality is "good enough." I used MyPublisher for my wedding albums, and they did a great job, but I want to say I think the prices and options are better with Shutterfly for everyday stuff. MyPublisher also has amazing customer service.
Also heard great things about Blurb. The last time I made a book, I think it was the better variety of templates and options that made me use Shutterfly. And they always have a million promotions, so that helps. Especially with shipping because I have found their shipping prices to be higher than others.
I will never ever ever ever use Snapfish again. Their quality is shit and their customer service is worse. It's hard to be worse than shit, but they managed.
I've tried them all. Shutterfly always gives me the best book for my buck. Snapfish is terrible, but offers a lot of free prints, so sometimes I use those in bulk for cheap photos of DD that I send to the grand and great grand parents.
