Today is Daniel's last day, he's going to miss his teachers so much. I planned to make the kids maple leaf shaped cookies but at 11 pm last night I could not get anything close to red, a deep salmon was the best I could get. I decided to go buy some premade icing tubes and send the blank cookies to school for the kids to decorate themselves. The teachers will probably hate me, lol.
After my failed bags yesterday I stayed up late and redid them. I'm really need to stop procrastinating, this could have been done weeks ago!
I also made these stemless wine glasses Box inside the bag
I woke up this morning and thought it said 6:45 so I got up. Except I checked later and it was only 5:50, I really need to put on glasses before I read the time lol. So I've been awake since 5:45 and H decides to sleep in today, it's 7:20 and he's still sleeping!
We have an 8 hour drive this afternoon/evening, A is always great in the car but this is H's first car trip since last July and he has a lot more energy this year. I hope he doesn't freak out halfway there.
First day of Madison's summer vacation. I'm off today and we are having a full day of fun. Currently at a kids play place for stop one. Then off to chop off 8 inches of her hair to donate. After that we are driving to Detroit to pick up some packages I had mailed there to save money.
My MIL was going to watch the boys for me today so I could get some work done, but she woke up with an irregular heartbeat so I'm taking her in to get her rhythm converted.
I'm trying to keep up with my workouts, and I discovered it's incredibly motivating for me to keep track of total distances achieved. I ran over 30 miles in June and if I can get my ride in tonight, I will have biked over 80 miles 😁

Well Daniel's isn't going quite as planned. He somehow walked into a metal pole and we ended up in the ER with a pretty good gash above his eyebrow. He totally freaked out about going to the hospital but once I calmed him down from that he was so brave and didn't cry once while the doctor was cleaning the cut and gluing it back together.
He even wanted to go back to school later, he didn't want to miss out on cookie decorating.
I can remove the pic if anyone finds it too gross.
sandj82110 - I love the bags! How did you do it them? I hope D wasn't too traumatized by his run in with the pole. Poor little guy!
teamhayes - oh no! I hope you can manage to avoid all the germs and come out unscathed!
This week has been something else and I am completely wiped out. If I could convince G is was bedtime right now I would. When does DST end/begin again??

mlkgls, I have a silhouette cameo cutting machine, so I design (or buy a file of) what I'm looking to make then cut the design out with the type if material I'm using. The bags are made with heat transfer vinyl and the wine glasses are a permanent vinyl.
rxbeth, what a wonderful thing for her to do! Was it her idea? Her new do looks great!

teamhayes, I'm sorry the boys are so sick. Hopefully everyone is feeling well by morning. You are one very brave lady if you attempt to drive tomorrow.

She asked to cut it a few months ago and I mentioned to her that if we waited a bit, we could donate it. She was on board with that.
I almost cried when they cut it. I'm sure it will never be that blond or long again. I need to get it mailed away quickly so that I don't have to keep looking at her hair on my dresser.
