I'm at 32 of 48 for the year, and 24 of 40 for my Monopoly Reading Challenge. I feel behind, even though I know mathematically I am not.
Wow, I read a lot of unimpressive stuff this month.

Tell The Wolves I'm Home 5 Breath of Malice 3 Come Sundown 5 Homegoing 5
I'm at 17 for the year as of yesterday. I'm not trying too reach any goals at this point, though I'd like to get to 40. I'm struggling a lot with my anxiety and depression this year, so just giving myself the freedom to read without pressure.
Everything Everything- 4* All the Missing Girls- 3* The Mothers- 4* Wonder- 5* Alexander Hamilton's Guide to Life- 5* Difficult Women- 4* All the Light We Cannot See- 5* Born a Crime- 5*
I read a good selection of books for June. I've been trying to be a little more picky with books, too many duds earlier this year. I'm at 26 of 50 books for my challenge so 1 book ahead of schedule.
Wolf Hollow **** The Falconer *** The Vanishing Throne *** A Train to Potevka * (For book club. I threw it in the recycling so I could not be responsible for anyone else reading it) Grave Peril *** The End of Oz ** Crown of Midnight **** A Court of Wings and Ruin *** The Wish Granter **** The Fallen Kingdom *** One Thousand White Women ** A Gentleman in Moscow **** Homegoing **** Summer Knight *** The Association of Small Bombs *** Heir of Fire ***

I had a pretty good reading month numbers-wise, but only one over 3 stars.
Mallory and the Dream Horse (Babysitters Club) by Ann Martin *** Adulting: How to Become a Grown-up in 468 Easy(ish) Steps by Kelly Williams ** Books for Living by Will Schwalbe ** Shopaholic to the Rescue by Sophie Kinsella *** Exit West by Mohsin Hamid * Wonder by R.J. Palacio **** Love, Loss and What We Ate by Padma Lakshmi ** The Mothers by Brit Bennett **
I'm 3 books ahead of schedule on my overall yearly reading goal and I've read 26 out of 52 books for my Pop Sugar Reading Challenge. I thought this would be fun following the challenge and getting out of my reading comfort zone but it's actually a little stressful and I'm reading a lot of books just to check off a box and not really b/c I want to. I'll still try to get as far as I can this year but I'm definitely not doing it again next year.

I did the same thing last year and didn't really enjoy much of what I read so I didn't do it again this year. It's so much less stressful this year.

Ya I can't wait to be done. I feel like I'm too far in to quit now though. I even started listening to audiobooks at 2x just to be able to get through them quicker.
I am always so impressed at how many books some of you can read in a month!
I know! I'm looking at some of these lists and I'm like.....uh. I finished All the Presidents Men and started Name of the Wind? And your list oliviapope was pretty impressive too!
Serious question - when do you all find time to read? I read at night but usually that only gets me an hour or two of solid reading between taking care of house stuff, DH talking to me, etc and sometimes I can read a hundred pages or sometimes I can only read 25.
I read the first 5 books in the Mercy Thompson series and would rate them probably all 4 stars. Super fun and quick reads. Good for the summer!
ETA: I'm always super impressed with some of these book counts, too! I do most of my reading at night and sometimes I am good for an hour and sometimes about 12 seconds before the kindle hits my face. Every now and then I am able to read during the day but it's not often.
My job is pretty methodical so I'm able to listen a lot at work. And about 1.5 hours a day on my commute. That's when I get the majority of the reading done. Regular kindle/print reading is only in the evenings really for an hour or less, unless I get on a big binge and read non stop after DS goes to bed.
Up in the Treehouse by KK Allen - 3/5* On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves - 4/5* Magic Binds (Kate Daniels #9) by Ilona Andrews - 4/5* Gena/Finn by Hannah Moskowitz - 4/5* The Blue-haired Boy by Courtney C. Stevens - 3/5* Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman - 2/5* Know Not Why by Hannah Johnson - 4/5* The Other Guy by Cary Atwell - 3/5* Bear, Otter, and the Kid by TJ Klune - 2/5*
I've finished 58/100 books for my personal reading challenge. I'm 8 books ahead of schedule.

June wasn't as good as I wanted, but I read a lot of pages so that's cool.
Finished "The Summer Everything Melted" 2.5 Read "Big Little Lies 3.75 Read 50% "Yes Please" so far 3.5 but I'm ready to start a new book.
Goodreads has me at 11/24, should move to 12 if I can finally finish Yes Please. I'm happy to be on target, but trying not to push myself as the second half of the year is typically less productive.
Career of Evil 4 Must Love Otters 3 The Unraveling of Mercy Louis 5 Entangled 3 The Other Einstein 4
I am at 21/35 books for the year.
I am also always impressed by how many books people can read. I tend to read in the evenings on weekdays and I fully enjoy a weekend day full of reading, but other commitments get in the way!
