While I love my Clarisonic, I don't bring it with me on vacation. But, with sunscreen (and sandy beaches), my face takes a beating and I feel like I have a layer of sweat, sunscreen, and beachy sand on my face everyday. I don't feel like a mild cleanser just cuts through all this stuff, so am looking for an exfoliator that I can bring with me.
I don't like St. Ives Apricot Scrub (too coarse) but also don't love Philosophy's Microdelivery Scrub (too fine).... so something in the middle (and bonus if it's travel friendly or can be decanted.)
I actually got the one Sephora sells first, and then realized these are under $3 for 2 at Walmart (they are usually on a clip strip in one of the cosmetics aisles, they don't have shelf space). I really like them and ditched my Konjac sponge for this in the shower because it never dried.
I recently bought this from bare minerals and so far so good. It is pricey but I like that you can use as much or as little with whatever cleanser you prefer. If you have a small container, you can probably take some with you on travel. Last night I used a little with Cerave's Hydrating cleanser and I turned out to be a very nice scrub.

Oh I like that I can take this and it isn't a liquid!

Tarte Friction Stick Exfoliating cleanser.....got this in a Sephora Play box and I'm hooked. Definitely getting the full size next time I'm at the store.
Was coming in here to say tarte stick thing, but I see that's been covered. Lol. Used it when I went to the beach. Loved it. Effective but didn't feel too harsh. I keep meaning to buy a full size, DH wants it too.
I double cleanse and don't have to worry about it all. What about just using a washcloth?
I am trying to consolidate what I bring. I do double cleanse at night but would prefer not bringing an extra liquid
Then what about using the su:m37 rose cleansing stick so you don't have to worry about a liquid for second cleanse? Or even as a stand-alone, as it does work wonders. It's great for travel.

I see that there are small rose petals in the Rose Cleansing Stick... but is it enough for good exfoliation? Also, would it melt in warm weather?

Nope, won't melt. I don't know about the exfoliation bit or what you want from exfoliation. I'm personally against physical exfoliation as it's not good for the skin - I use actives for that. Or a washcloth if I have serious flaky skin.
