It's Thursday, right?

I'm on vacation this week so my days are muddled. This is the first vacation where it hasn't been for a family event (wedding, seeing sick people, funeral) I've had in 10 years. I hasn't even realized it had been that long until I stopped and thought of it.
We went to an MLS game last night, and before the game were offered free tickets to Disney World! BUT it was for a family of 4 and we are just 3. However, we still won a different prize pack and got to go down on the field during warm ups and we were on the Jumbotron!
We are off to the beach today for the afternoon to sweat our hineys off. It's been unbelievably hot this week.

MIL and my H are taking the boys to the boardwalk while I finish up the last bit of work.

The high is 100 today so we're inside doing 10 loads of laundry from our trip.

H ended up with awful poops from the trip, no clue if it's something he ate or the lake water he kept drinking, but they're gross and he has a bad diaper rash.

My mil asked for a gift list for H's birthday. So I put one together with lots of options, she picked a $15 gift that we already own lol, why ask for a list if that's what you're getting? Just pick something random to get and don't ask for a list.

Send good thoughts please. Joey the 8ish old dog was given a year to two prognosis last August. This week he can't stand up and walk on his back leg. We are hoping he just pulled a muscle chasing a rabbit vs. other issues. Due to his heart condition (mitral valve deterioration, hence terminal diagnosis) he can't have surgery if he blew a hip. I hope it is minor because I'm not ready to tell the kids that his time is coming to an end.

I was on call over the weekend, WFH on Monday, and off Tuesday. I swear I don't know if I'm coming or going this week! I'm hoping for an early bedtime tonight; thunder kept G up way past his bedtime last night and he was such a crankpot his morning.

Yes I kept meaning to message you and fusion but kept forgetting. We decided to skip the aquarium, we're going to go to Legoland instead. We're stayin at the Embassy Suites Dallas Frisco. We have no plans other than Lego land and Eating somewhere (kid friendly). Obviously very short notice but if either of you are free and want to meet us somewhere in that area/at Lego land we'd love to have you!

We just got back. He tore his ACL. His heart murmur is now a high 4 possible low 5 out of 6. We can't risk surgery as his heart probably won't handle it. We go back next month to check his leg (which they said could heal on its own) and to repeat the chest x-ray. We are to keep him quiet and not running. He's a Brittany, it isn't in his DNA not to run.

He will be fine short-term but long-term not so much. I'm sad.

Caleb's going to start wearing glasses due to far-sightedness and astigmatism. We picked them out today, and the optometrist was so happy to have a parent who didn't have to be convinced to put her kid in glasses.

We had talked it up a lot before the appointment (it was a follow-up, so we knew he would need them), to get him excited about them. Now, everyone except Abby will have glasses.
