Been on the road for about 3 hours, had one emergency " in need to poop now" but then didn't actually poop stop and once actual planned one. We're about 2:45 minutes to Lego land now. The kids are excited but the fact that we woke them early is really starting to show. So much whining.

I need to buy groceries but Ruby came down with a fever last night. She is draining and sneezing a lot. We are both tired bc she slept with me and was up a lot. I also have a lot of housework I need to do but no motivation.

Logan is doing speech therapy now and then we're headed to lunch and the waterpark. Oh and somewhere in there we need to run by the store for a swim diaper because I left ours at home. Ugh.
Last full day at the beach. We went to the boardwalk this morning, and are going out to play in the water/sand this afternoon after the boys wake up from naps.
I am so tired right now I want to crawl under the covers and sleep until morning. I think I need to start exercising again. Even with age and everything on my plate, I don't think I should be THIS exhausted.
sandj82110 - I hope you guys finally made it to LegoLand and didn't get caught in the storms!

We made it, we were pretty disappointed with it though. It was so hot, the floors were filthy, I totally expect Lego to be all over the floor but I also expect to see people attempting to keep the main walkways clear. The cafe was gross, so much crap all over the floors, did I mention it was hot as hell? 1/2 the displays were broken in some way. Very over priced for the experience (and the kids were free!) the storms must have happened while we were inside, we heard that they closed the splash area, I guess that's why. The kids seemed to enjoy it at least!
We're attempting to make it to the hotel now, of course Alexander just fell asleep, he's going to be fun to put to bed tonight! lol

Aw, I was wondering how it would go. I took G when he was 3-3.5, but the ticket was free. I don't remember it being dirty, but I do remember being SHOCKED at the prices and wait to get inside. I'm glad the boys had fun at least! Maybe you guys can cool off at the pool?
I haven't posted in a while but I'm sitting here with a sick kid, so why not? We dropped the boys off at my parents' after dinner to spend the night. We came home for a bit and were then going to go out with my brother/sil. We had only been home for maybe 10 minutes when my mom called and said that W had thrown up. So there goes date night. It's been an hour and he's had some water and has not gotten sick again. B threw up last Friday up north one time and then was fine the rest of the time. I'm hoping it will be the same for W. it's so hard to keep him sitting down and in one place.
