It's the weekend! Woohoo!!!

Happy weekend my beautiful friends! Any fun plans?

I thought I was going to be able to have a cup of coffee with H before he went to work and set up the coffee maker to a full pot. As usual, things changed and I am now drinking the whole pot by myself. I feel bad for my coworkers and the volunteers stuck with me in a few hours lol. I was happy to see H is drinking the premier protein drink I got for quick meals. I feel better knowing he is getting some protein to work off of instead of running on just coffee until lunch time.

This is the first year I'm not marching in the firemen's parade that is today in over 10 years. Since we all switched fire companies when ours shut down we had to get new dress uniforms. I went over a month ago to be measured and told they will call when all the pieces are in. I never got a call so committed to my job to work first aid so I can watch the parade. Our firehouse daughter texted yesterday to see if I was going. Told her the situation and she said they didn't call her either but she called them and was going to pick her's up. I called and sure enough in came in over a week ago. WTF. Oh well. My boss was going to take me off the schedule since he felt bad and knows how much I love marching this parade but I committed to work and I'm not going to back out of it on them. I can meet up with my fire company after the parade is over and kick back a few beers with brothers and sisters.

Woke up to CD1 and I'm in a pretty significant amount of pain, so I'll probably be curled up on the couch all weekend. Took pain meds and I'm waiting to see if they'll help, but I'm not expecting much relief.

H is working all weekend, so he isn't even here to listen to me whine. lol.

Nothing exciting going on here, first weekend we're home in a month so we're going to relax and catch up on random things around the house. Church tomorrow morning.

I should run to AC Moore today but I'm being super lazy so far.

Started the day with Starbucks and a trip to the park. We went for a walk downtown and now made it home to work on chores.

Taking a break from scraping wallpaper glue and about to go get lunch. H is repairing drywall from taking out old intercom speakers. We're trying to get 3 rooms ready to paint.

We are still in Wisconsin. We spent the morning at the park and wading at the beach. Next we're taking J fishing and going for a boat ride. Going out for ice cream tonight to my favorite place!

Just got up from an almost 2 hour nap just now. Thanks DD!!! When she gets up, we will go grocery shopping. I'll make lunches tonight too. DH is doing a seminar today and will come Home a little earlier than he normally does.

There is this onep of DH's clients that I can't stand.....she is legit loony....She actually passed out when he told her we were pregnant with DD. She is old enough to be his Mom but is obsessed with him. She got us a $200 gift card to get things for DS. She knows she isn't my favorite....but I'll take sucking up in the form of gift cards.

We are in WI too visiting my H's grandma and hanging out with family.

H is working today, big surprise 😞 he is suppose to have next weekend off. So I have a day of housework and lifetime movies planned today.

My grandma said if she were 50 years younger she'd go for my H. We had no idea how to respond.

I am sitting out by my own pool for the first time this summer. I never really got to appreciate it, but my pool is beautiful and it feels like a vacation. I can't imagine in a few years when my kids are old enough so we can all enjoy this on a regular basis :-)

Sorry it didn't last longer but glad you enjoyed the little bit of "me time" you had. Hoping you get a lot more time by the pool this summer!

C has been sick all weekend and was super miserable and clingy. My guess is it's going to end up being RSV again and I am just hoping L and I don't get it. I feel bad because we sleep with our windows open and live on pretty much a freeway (not really but very busy street 50 mph speed limit) so we have a fan going in our room. I leave the monitor on L because I still nurse him at night. Anyways, I woke up at midnight Friday night to Cameron crying (I didn't know he was, only found out because DH still wasn't home so I went to open his window and he had been crying). So I am spending my second night on the couch waking up and making sure he is ok all night. His breathing was pretty bad last night but seems a little better and at least he is fever free now.

I am not ready for Monday...I feel like we need a weekend so-over in our house.

Thanks! He was a mess last night 🙁 Wish he could sleep better so he would feel better. He's still sleeping now so that's good. L was up 4:50-6:00 and finally went back to sleep (he was also up at 10:45 and 2:15).
