Weekend randoms

We are at the airport. Im a wheelchair, I can't move. Threw my back out yesterday. Life is awesome. But there is a plus side, in about 12 hours I'll be in Newfoundland and my parents will entertain and feed/care for my children while I rest. Also, our shirts are awesome, lol.

We just got home from the beach and are unpacking. My garden exploded while we were gone and I've got zucchini for days. But oh, the weeds.

I just sold a bunch of clothes and toys to once upon a child and it feels good to clean all that out! I'm also putting all the money I make selling things to our Disney trip next year, I might get enough for like one night at a hotel lol

I've been decluttering trying to prep for baby. My due date is August 4th but at my last appointment my doctor mentioned inducing at 39 weeks since I am advanced maternal age. So I've kicked prep into high gear. My DH put together the highchair and stroller. No real plans this weekend but I'm getting stir crazy from staying home so I need to go shopping or something soon.

The drugs kicked in enough that I was able to walk at least once we arrived in Toronto, just sitting on the flight now to Newfoundland. Alexander napped earlier but this is late even with a nap, he's currently wild. Daniel is starting to fade overall they've both been awesome. 3 more hours and I should be home!

we made it! The boys and I are here for a month. H will join us on the 30th. We come back on the 9th of August.

The inspection of our house went well and they aren't asking for any repairs. They did ask for us to service our A/C, which gives us a big 'ol WTF because we JUST replaced it 6 weeks ago. So we're going to kindly let them know that it's brand new and that there isn't anything to service. But all in all, I think they really want our house and don't see them backing out now. CanNOT wait to move to our new house!

and the whole 5 acres - That whole front 2.5 acres is cedar, which I'm going to get a quote from a company to come in and chop down and mulch all of those trees in place and put down native meadow seed mixes. Cedar is kind of invasive and makes that whole area almost unusable, but mulching it all and reseeding could make a gorgeous meadow area after 3-5 years. The back part is a creek that is also overgrown with scrubby trees and bush that needs cleared. But I want to rehab that with native plants also, which is something I know how to do. SO EXCITED!!!!!

R got into W's box of Picasso tiles. She has been happily stacking and unstacking tiles for about 20 minutes. I love when they get totally occupied by something so simple! Of course, tomorrow, she will have zero interest in the tiles!
