My step mom bought me one a few years ago and I have used it twice and not recently (hummus and salsa). Anyways, was just on pinterest and thought of you....you can use it to make Oreo crumbs for Oreo krispy treats 😉
I think that sounds like an excellent idea
I thought you might like it! Let me know how they turn out! I might have to dig out my food processor and make these! Perfect combo...Oreo + krispy treat! Much better than traditional rice krispy cereal!

Hugs to everyone that needs them! Like katespade I'm not posting a ton right now if it's not helpful/positive. My mental state is a little terrible right now, mostly set off by a screaming, hitting toddler who just wailed on me yesterday morning over nothing (among other things). I had to put him in his room for a minute before leaving for work because I just couldn't handle it. I'm mentally exhausted right now so I'm glad I have tomorrow off to hopefully regain some sanity. So I'm reading stuff but not posting unless it's more positive (other than this post I guess, lol). Hope everyone's weeks that started badly end up better!
(((estrellita))) I'm sorry to hear you're feeling that way, too. It sucks, and I'm tired of being sad all the time. I have a therapy appointment on Friday, which I'm looking forward to. I need to spend some time processing my thoughts beforehand, so I can use that time as wisely as possible. I'm only seeing her once a month now, and I feel like I've had so much happen this month that I want to talk through with her. Ugh.
I'm supposed to run a 5k mud obstacle course on Saturday, and I'm reeeeeeeally hoping AF is gone by then. I'm also annoyed because, thanks to AF, I've been in too much pain to do weights or cardio this week and now I feel totally unprepared for it (I took a break from cardio during my 2WW because I was nervous, so I'm way behind on my workouts).
But H got me coffee this morning, so at least I have caffeine.
The dr switched G to an amino acid based formula instead of the Nutramigen we were previously using to supplement. It's possible the Nutramigen was irritating him and causing the blood and it might not be soy/another intolerance. He only gets 0-6 oz of formula a day but that's enough to cause a reaction. So the plan is to continue my strict avoidance of all dairy for two more weeks while breastfeeding, and supplement with the amino acid based formula when necessary. We will recheck for blood in two weeks and then decide if I want to pursue soy elimination or switch completely to formula at that point. I'm not ready to give up yet.

*hugs* bk1! I hope things get better for you soon.
Thanks katespade. Sometimes I wonder if I should be going to a counselor to sort everything out in my head. I dwell on things a lot so it would probably be good to talk things through with someone. I just can't seem to find the time (or money since we used up our EAP sessions until Oct) to do it. Hope you're feeling better soon, both physically and mentally!

Good update Blue Moon! Prayers this is the solution for you guys!
bk1- so so sorry friend 🙁 We don't have the financial stress but we also aren't in a great place and it's hard (DH doesn't like his new job because of all the hours and I am exhausted solo parenting all week long, and he doesn't give me the true break I need on the weekends). I am here if you ever want/need to talk.
katespade- both boys are still sick 🙁 Thankfully C is feeling a little better and L is pretty easy even when sick but it's still hard (and I am feeling weak and have a headache from so much blood loss). I am just praying L doesn't get RSV and we can still go to spread my moms ashes on Sat...it's been over 3 months now so I would hate to postpone.
((bk1 )) I'm so sorry things are so rough right now. Praying you guys get a breakthrough. I'm so sorry ((
Blue Moon I hope this is a good fix for you guys!!!
My mother is itching for us to have a dining room table. Long story short, we didn't have one for a while because we had bar stools and it was just the two of us. Plus, my eccentric man liked the open space. We just had fold-ups if people came over. I didn't LOVE it...but hey. There was a table at a furniture store I really loved before we moved in. But he decided to pass on it and the store doesn't carry it anymore. We went around Memorial Day and I found two liked at competing stores. But because I was having major sciatica pain (enough to where I couldn't focus), DH decided we would go home. SO FRICKIN CLOSE to getting a table!!! Well, my mother apparently has one she wants us to get. She's super controlling and won't stop until we get a frickin table in there. Now, she's hung up on the fact that I don't want a round table. I do what we all do with her and changed the subject and she gave me a "Bless your heart." My own mother....grrr...
((bk1)) I'm so sorry. Good vibes for a job for your H.
I'm glad that it may not be a soy intolerance and that you can continue to breastfeed.
MrsMB- I would defiantly wait for a table that you love and not one your mom wants you to have. (Unless it's free and you can use it until you find what you want)
DD is getting her first cold. 😞 and DH just text me that he thinks he's sick. 😳 He takes the man cold to the extreme. Urg.
I have dragon boating practice tonight, and when I text him to remind him his response was "I think I'm getting sick". So what does that mean? He doesn't want me to go to practice tonight? Or what.

awick14- ((hugs)) I really hope you get to go dragon boating tonight. My DH is the worst when he's sick too. wasn't there a commercial recently about how parents don't get sick days...maybe find it and text that to him. Also, "getting sick" and actually being sick are two different things. I am frustrated for you....coming from someone that doesn't get a break when I get sick...you just push through and do what you have to do. Does your DH call into work sick when he doesn't feel well (not judging if he does but most don't, especially with kids because parents of small kids are often sick and PTO only goes so far)?
awick14 it's the principle that she's going to make a huge deal about me not getting a round table.....and essentially tell me to go "screw myself" in "southern speak." I'm 34 years old and married. You need to get a hobby other then trying to control your children.
luv2rn4fun- he doesn't call in sick often. When he does though I don't mind, because when he is that sick he's actually not bad to deal with he just sleeps. (If he's that sick he's been known to sleep almost 24 hrs straight) He also doesn't get PTO, so he doesn't take time off often.
MrsMB- I hate round tables in houses, to me they are not practical. They take up too much room for not many people to sit at. She needs too back off for sure. (I somehow missed the round table part)
O and I didn't end up dragon boating the smoke here is still bad and I decided I didn't want to chance an asthma attack. So I put DD to bed and went to the gym instead.

Sorry about not getting to go boating (( any signs of the fires letting up?

There are 280+ fires in the province right now, the biggest ones are still going strong, with no chance of stopping anytime soon. 😞 three started within 2 hrs of where I live today, but thankfully all were put out. (One was from an idiot tossing a cigarette out the window, and 2 from car accidents) It is so dry here that the smallest spark starts a fire. It's terrifying.
DH and I will be okay. We are 100% here to fight for us, just rough times right now.
Today I'm getting in a little girl time! My mom is watching the girls and I'm meeting up with my friend for coffee and pedicures! She has coffee gift cards to use so she's bringing it and I have a pedicure gift card from Christmas to use! Yay for free pampering girl time.

This has been the week from hell. Luckily only 4 more hours then the weekend starts. On a good note, I was able to get a coffee at Starbucks. Plus I planned my Sam's Club trip for tomorrow and my coupons for grocery shopping. It's so sad I get excited for grocery shopping lol. I need a life.
Also DH now has to work tomorrow. I'm not happy but he is technically off Saturday, doing a local, none paying show 5 minutes from the house. Sunday he is off too. We are going to go to the winery nearby, bring lots of snacks and relax.
DH is feeling sicker today then yesterday. He didn't go to work today, but he also doesn't seem like he has a man cold. He's only come out of the bedroom to have a cup of tea and that's it.
On the plus side, him being home allowed me to go to Costco by myself this morning. I went as soon as I put DD down for a nap. They were both sleeping when I got back.
I'm going to start up a weekly fitness post again. I need to motivate myself for my 10km race in Oct!
