I recently moved from CA to WA. Surprisingly, my skin has been drier here. I don't know if it's age (I'm 31) or hormones or what. Anyway, we've been here about 3 months so I'm thinking this is how it's gonna be. I have dehydrated skin, but it can be oily/combo. It's very easily congested/break out prone so I do better with more watery types instead of heavier stuff. I love the Belif aqua bomb for day time but I'm finding it's not quite cutting it for nighttime. My budget is $50-ish, but I'm willing to spend more if it's truly awesome and I can get a sample since I'll only be using at night. Obviously though, cheaper is always good. I'm also open to oils if they're not too heavy.

La Roche-Posay has great moisturisers for all skin types. If you can get one of those, I'd go for it. I have dry, dehydrated skin so my choice would not help you necessarily.

I've had good success with Laneige Water Bank Moisturizer, I'm 32 and noticed my skin was becoming drier within the last year or so. I originally got it in a Target Beauty Box and have continued to use it because it works so well for me. I definitely don't feel like I have any dryness when I'm using it regularly.
CeraVe PM mixed with a couple drops of beauty oil. I prefer Marula oil, I found a big bottle on Amazon for a good price. I'm currently using a sample of Tarte's Maracuja oil and it's good but kind of a higher price than I'd like to spend.

I used the heck out of argan and marula oil samples this past winter. The Josie Maran argan oil is the only thing I purchased a full-size of because it actually absorbed into my skin and it wasn't too greasy. The Ordinary has their own versions of both. I haven't tried them though and you can't beat the price.

Have you tried Josie Maran's argan oil lotion? I'm always curious about it when I see her on QVC selling it but I haven't pulled the trigger on buying any yet.

No I haven't! I was curious about that as well but I remember reading the reviews and they weren't that great.

I just went back and looked at the reviews for the argan lotion on QVC, they're pretty meh. I've been using Philosophy for forever and was just looking to change things up a little.
I also have easily congested, acne prone skin. Basically any cream based moisturizer I am likely to have an issue.
Cerave PM made me break it wiuth cystic acne.
I have had the most success with Cosrx Snail Mucin, followed with rose hip oil (I use radha purchased from Amazon). Most other oils cause issues for me...are either too heavy/greasy or cause breakouts.

Snails make me itchy . I don't know if its the few I've tried or the snails, but my skin is always so itchy and irritated when I use it.
I'm going to check out rose hip oil too because I've heard that's good for acne.

Probably snails. Bummer.
High lineolic acid oils are the best for acne. Rose hip oil has been my favorite and I've tried several.
